I also think Mercury/Sun in the 1st can be like this or 1st stellium people in general. I am, in the sense that, I can talk on and on about myself not out of arrogance or cockiness or anything like that (I promise LOL), but it will be shallow/surface stuff, like stories or experiences or opinions. I don't talk deeply about myself much. Thankfully, I'm a good listener too.

I think Mercury-Moon people can talk a lot about their emotions.

Maybe even a tight Sun-Venus conjunction, especially if it's in the 1st or 3rd house. (talk about themselves at length/lots of self-interest)

Another that I've kind of noticed is Cancer Suns, to be very general. I've known a lot of Cancers. Was married to one (Leo Moon though). I think they do it just because they need to be heard and to vent out their emotions.
I knew a Cancer/Scorpio and she needed someone to trust. Once she trusted me, maaaaaaaan... she just talked about her and her problems. I didn't mind though. She needed it.

Perhaps someone with quite a prominent Saturn or Capricorn Influence.I think a well rounded person who is influenced by Saturn can be an upstanding member of the community.They are are hard working and responsible.Although I have noticed some who have forgotten their old shirt.Some are hypocritical,power hungry and think are they above everyone else.They seem to think that they are the only ones who don't do anything wrong.

I think badly adjusted Aries or Aries or Mars influenced people can be a know it alls as well.They are usually confident,ambitious go getters but seem oblivious to how in your face they can really be.A lot of the time they get away with it because they have been put on a pedestal and are frequently excused because they are just hot headed and didn't deliberately mean to cause any harm.I fail to see how some people fail to understand how a Cardinal sign ruled by Mars could think that most things Aries does is done by accident.

Leo would also be another which would like to talk about itself.I'm not going to elaborate more on Leo because a lot of people on here are constantly pointing out our flaws so there is no need to.

Maybe Loaded 1st,3rd,9th and 10th houses would be involved with these sort of problems.

Many of my aspects conspire this and it's hard to isolate the cause. I truly do get a lot of pleasure in my own world, my inner decor. But where it becomes unhealthy is tipping outer needs so much inwards. The mental/mercury aspects represent how this occurs including an imbalanced form of expression but as to why ... Since this has become more pronounced in me recently I think I can trace it to venus square Saturn (but possibly the clash of Saturn with a loving aspect/placement) because as I've tried to repress, turned away from love it feels it's turned towards Saturn but tried to bypass Saturn pain too - it seems to have landed very badly in saturns Leo house. It's almost like choosing a physical form of self love - to avoid being explicit - over a union with another. Of course that becomes more empty and unhealthy and cyclic over time. I don't fully understand depositors but I think looking at that to follow the channels of love would be worthwhile.

Now, about thinking oneself holier-than-thou or superior, that's entirely different. I would attribute that to a badly aspected and/or retrograde VENUS. SATURN deals with internal insecurities, which can be expressed in this way, too. Both of these in bad aspect to the SUN (ego), would probably indicate ego issues.

Signs prone to ego problems? Depends on how you individually perceive "ego". Some would say say Aquarius or Pisces, who think they have the solution to all the world's problems. Some would say Aries, who barge ahead heedless of consequence or collateral damage. Some would say Leo, who prefer playtime and the limelight. Some would say Libra, who downplay everyone's individuality in favor of equality. Some would say Saggitarius, who value truth above all - and want to share what they perceive it to be. Etc etc.

I personally do not think any one sign is prone to superiority complexes. Each manifests differently and is perceived differently by different people. Except in extreme cases of narcissism, most people are rather normal in their expression of ego, and just mix like oil and water with certain people. A miscommunication, if you will.
