Not generally, I don't think. I can be lazy, but that's because I'm a Leo and a Libra mars. Oftentimes, I'm only lazy when I feel like the thing that I gotta do doesn't seem "fun" or interesting to me. I can be very driven as well, especially when I'm inspired. This is part of the balance in personality of a Libra mars. Also, Pisces MC tends to work well when inspired. When I'm really into something, I work hard to do it and use my determination to achieve my desired results. Plus, my Neptune is in Capricorn, so I don't really stay in the clouds like the typical stereotype for Pisces. Like everything else, it all depends on the whole chart itself.

------------------
Gemini Rising
Sun in Leo (2nd house)
Moon in Cancer (1st house)
Mercury in Virgo (3rd house conj.)
Venus in Virgo (3rd house)
Mars in Libra (5th house)

I have a Pisces MC and I'm not "unambitious" at all. On the very contrary. I'm very competitive with my siblings and friends, and I always want to be the one at the top.

When I was in school, my classmates hated me because they thought I was too "competitive". I'm one of those people who show their competitiveness pretty blatantly.

I can't stand lazy people who don't have anything going on for themselves. I've been looking for a job and quite frankly, I've cut cords with most of my acquaintances until I find a job because I feel very crappy about myself. Not having a job is the bottom of the ladder even for a fresh graduate. I feel really inadequate and not doing anything all day drives me mad.

It's probably my Gemini Moon/Mars and Scorpio Sun, but my Pisces MC isn't at all representative of my personality to be honest.

I also have pisces MC, and pisces moon in 10th house.

I would say that I am really really ambitious, but also very very lazy. I don't have any ambitions of getting rich with material stuff. I want to be emotional, social, spiritual rich. This is the stuff that inspire me. Being creative, being one with nature, being with loved ones and to love my life.

But the society we live in don't wan't people to be like this. Our society just want us to be productive, being consumers of material stuff and have no comfortable life. When we get sick of it, they prefer us to die so they wont waste a lot of money on the hospital.

This is why pisces MC is seen as being lazy and having no ambitious.
I see it, as we get lazy of having to fit into a society that is the completely opposite of what we really wan't, sorry.

EDIT: Did I mention I have an Aqua NN in 9th house lol. I think that placement was shining through right there:P

I actually have a Pisces MC too. I feel he same way as NN but never thought about it to the extreme. I'd be happy being a hobo so long as I was comfortable, had a few security items, want starving, people, lovers, etc. I don't have to be rich at all though. I want to help people.

I could see that generalization holding true in the United States, but not one where the arts, mysticism, and the like are valued more. They could be frantic artists or eager mystics that help others who aren't lazy at all, and they may be far more interested in exploring themselves and society than getting a good paycheck, but consider a 9-5 job where they don't do anything MEANINGFUL (from their perspective) to be a waste of time, perhaps a necessary evil but not one embraced with enthusiasm, and so they could be seen as weak, wishy washy, lazy and unambitious for that reason...but that requires seeing it from a certain perspective that is subjective and arbitrary rather than objective and universal.

Yes me too, I also have a big wish of helping others, helping nature and helping our earth getting better. But since pisces can be easily confused, I don't think many pisces MC is aware of this and how it is a more suitable path for them.
Pisces just tend to absorb the mainstream, so in these days it is popular to fit into the "rich consumer" life at it's best, having a nive career and all that... so I could imagine a lot of pisces MC and general pisces people would get confused, because that's not really what they need...

I would look to Mars for ambition and energy level.

The MC just gives you the type of career/public persona a person may want.

I don't know the Pisces MC inuitively but I would guess a person like this could fall into a public persona where Pisces traits can be adequately expressed.

So if it happens to be an artistic Pisces MC person, I wouldn't call the poor artist lazy... they may paint daily and constantly work on their art and not achieve success.

Alternatively, Capricorn MC, which I have and understand well. I have it, and I want success, and I'm willing to work for a slow rise to achieve authority and prestige.

My nonbiologically related uncle(I don't like him) has it, and he too wants success, and all the things a Capricorn MC wants to look like to the public. But he's the type of guy who will tell you 'he won't work 60 hours a week at $8 an hour because he isn't a Mexican' and rather stay at home and do nothing.

We both want success and prestige in the Capricorn MC kind of flavor. He's lazy, I'm not.

Disgusting part is he wants to be in politics. Bleh.

Ok rant over, but I hope you get my long winded point heh

Yeah this exactly.. I'd like to make decent money from writing someday (although not writing for corporate agendas-even though I started out considering that direction and was naïve enough to think people with good intentions can actually make a difference from the inside) so I do have a creative drive, but mostly I want to help others and help myself break free of the superficiality /lies our society is obsessed with and driven by.

I think it's possible to be successful (and even rich) without falling into the 9-5 trap-or after doing that long enough to save enough money to do what you really want..

Pisces is also about healing and I'd love to do something involving natural/alternative medicine-not even for the money just to get the word out that there are natural alternatives and cures to just about everything the pharma industry has people enslaved in debt over. Cannabis oil in concentrated forms can legitimately cure cancer for example, and that's not just new age nonsense...

So yeah I think it is difficult in the US-even with my Cap planets I don't really care about prestige and credentials if they're just for show and I'm not also doing something meaningful..

I relate so much to this!

I'm a Pisces MC too. And I think some people do think I'm lazy, but in reality I'm really not deep down. I have aspirations and goals, they are just not so much apparent to others because they aren't the 'normal' kind. They don't really involve money or the consumer life. I just feel that I'm living in a society that does not value a lot of the same things as I do, and I've never been a money-oriented person or career person. So I always feel at odds with the world.

I don't have any big ambitions either to get rich. That stuff doesn't truly matter to me. Sure, I won't say that it wouldn't be nice, but I'm just much more focused on bettering myself spiritually and emotionally, and if I could benefit the world in any way, it would be in that manner. It would be through compassion, love, and spirituality.

I don't think it's really a "weak" Midheaven. It's just that since Pisces is ruled by Neptune, there has to be a "higher" purpose to the career. Just acquiring fame or fortune with no real personal meaning behind it would not appeal to a Pisces ascendant.

There's also a desire to play the role as savior, to bring people awareness spiritually or to make them 'better'... which is why you often see famous people with [edit]Pisces midheaven as artists (Salvador Dali has this), musicians, counselors/psychologists.

I think one of the biggest problems with Pisces MC is that they want to do every kind of career and have trouble deciding, so they prevent themselves from reaching their full potential because they switch from career to career. Nothing really quite fits. But once they DO find they individual path which validates them spiritually, I think it really all "clicks" and they can provide amazing and unique insight to their field (both Albert Einstein and Stephen Spielberg had this placement).

Jupiter conjunct the MC (which is domicile in Pisces) would indicate luck in career. Are your Venus/Mars conjunct? Venus conjunct mars often indicates artistic ability, especially if in a water sign.

I'd just like to point out that Pisces MC and ascendant are two different things LOL but I do agree that I want to do every career possible. It does stem out from Gemini rising being a sign of variety and the infamous "jack-of-all-trades".

Did I say ascendant? I meant to say midheaven...Thought it was pretty clear from the rest of what I was saying. I'm typing on my phone right now so autocorrect might've messed it all up, haha.

My ex is a pisces mc with a libra mars.
This must be the lazy configuration from hell or something bc he could never keep a job. He ways got fired for either calling off too much or being too lazy while on the job.
This man could watch me try to get through the front door with 67 grocery sacks and not budge off the couch.

Having the MC ruler afflicted by Neptune has a similar effect.

Since Pisces is ruled by Neptune, would my Aquarius placement there have an affect on my career/ambition? I didn't know Jupiter c. MC would bring me luck! Lol that makes me feel better. My Venus, Mars & Ascendant conjunct each other in Cancer, so my love for babies, toddlers & children are like triplified. I long to be a succesful elementary school teacher by the time I'm 26.
I'm finishing high school right now

If your Neptune is in Aquarius, it's probably in the 8th or 9th house. 9th house= house of higher education so your desire to be an elementary school teacher would fit. & that's great! I have Cancer ascendant as well and adore kids. I also am in my final year of HS
