hello all

My progressed sun will change in a few months into Leo. What should I expect?

Ah. This happened to me when I was young. Gone were the days of the timid me.

Didn't really notice the change myself as a little boy at the time. But looking back now my grades were very good as a Cancer boy. When the sun progressed I became more aggressive. I went from being quiet to very brash and challenging the boys who put me down before.

Ill never forget the day little Tevin snatched my pencil from my hand so that he could use it. I quickly punched him in the side of his head knocking him out of his chair. Recollected my pencil and looked around for a challenger, finding none I sat back down.

You know what happens when a lion tastes blood don't you?

Well long story short it took a couple of months of readjustment and a lot of parental discipline but I came to.

Oh one final thing. One thing I have never admitted to anyone was my puppeteer act. In middle school I would "plant" several letters/notes around the school hallways and start fights between my classmates to keep myself entertained. I really got off on other people's drama. It was a very rough transition for me although I'm not sure if my manipulative antics should be attributed to Mars-Pluto opposition or Mer-Pluto square.

I think this transition will be much nicer for you as long as you are a well adjusted adult.

Very nice!My Sun pogressed to Aquarius this year. It is still at 0 Degrees Aquarius though.

Look to the natal chart cusp. All the houses with Fire(especially Leo) will get special attention.

The houses with air will be where you will most likely benefit from(when you keep an open mind).Especially the house with Aquarius on the cusp(your progressed Solar 7th house).

The houses with water signs may be where you will be challenged. Leo doesn't like dealing with emotions. So the house cusp with Scorpio(4th)therein will be especially difficult.

The house with earth signs may be where your ambitions are. Taurus on the house cusp especially(10th), will be where you want to do something "tangible".

Is there a shift in your priorities? i.e what was important before seems to be re-addressed as to why it was so important? Perhaps even a complete change of view?

That is what I experienced prior to the Sun progressing to Aquarius.

With pLeo Sun, I'd think what's the arena where you're itching to show off and enertain? Where are you thinking of making a splash? Cos you're needed somewhere. You, your talents, your energy. You may not be so afraid that people are going to notice you. You may not care if they notice you. If you're not afraid now, then you might just aim for the top. It depends on where you start from

WOW!!!!!

I'm scared and super excited all at the same time.

@Regulus18 - I understand exactly what you mean...I am feeling more assertive/aggressive/opinionated each day I get closer. I really hope it doesn't get out of control

@Aries23- I love your info but seriously have no idea how to translate that into my own natal chart.

Can you translate for me?
Here is my natal chart.

In you natal chart, you don't have any planets in early fixed signs i.e 1 Taurus,1 Scorpio,1 Aquarius etc. So the changes may not be that consequential.

But nevertheless,a planet moving to a new sign offers a new perspective.A new way of looking at things,a new faith and optimism etc.

So in your chart, if the shift coincides with transiting Jupiter in Leo squaring your Moon and conjunct the Asc,you could feel this "anything is possible" energy a lot more.

But you do have Sun-Saturn conjunct to keep things from getting too "out of control".

Maybe you are still reeling from trSaturn opposition nMoon and squaring Asc and MC respectively? This Jupiter transit and progression shift would bring about some relief before Saturn turns its attention on your Saturn/Sun aspect(by opposition).

This could bring about a time where older, wiser people need to be heard.Or at-least you find your interactions with them are a lot more frequent than usual.

It could also suggest that someone will increase responsibility and demands on you. Or it could be the start of a mature alliance with someone(as is often indicative of the opposition aspect). But not necessarily romantic as it is "necessary" for your career/self(Sun)etc.

The progressed Sun in Leo trine Neptune in Sag in 2-3 years suggests that your nature could be more gentle, more allowing and perhaps even more spiritually inclined(if not already there).

I am curious. How did you find the Uranus/Pluto transits to your Venus in Cancer? Its long past now or the after-effects still there(if any)?

Thank you Aries23!

As for the Uranus/Pluto to NVenus....

I will say this...between May 2012-May 2014 I experienced prob the hardest lesson of my life. I met a man that spun me out of control sexually. He used me over and over again taking me down a dark deeply hidden sexual path which I still have a hard time forgetting today. He was a karmic relationship that taught me some very hard lessons. My NPluto also opposed his NVenus....I obsessed over this man day and night, burning from my core over and over again. He was a user but appealed to everything i THOUGHT I wanted so I came back over and over for more pain. Took me two years to get him out of my body and like I said before...still haunts me to this day. So...if this is the Uranus/Pluto aspect to natal Venus...then I never EVER wish this on anyone.

How does a sun sign change into another? That sounds a little confusing?

HUGS*** Venus in Cancer loves(Venus)with the heart(Moon). And if the Moon is also in water or aspected by Neptune/Pluto- Yikes!!!!

Uranus seems to produce a novelty/newness that is hard to resist. It jolts us out of the mundane. Especially when it touches Venus. But its heartbreak is not debilitating. Not from what I have seen.

We could change out minds about the way we look, spend more money sporadically, feel "sexier", attract very interesting(albeit unreliable people) etc. Its a whirlwind Ben Affleck/Jennifer Lopez transit. An the break-up is also very sudden.

When it ends, you are like "what the hell was that all about?" But you also know, that the ride was necessary to get you out of your rut and see the possibilities that are out there.

I appreciate Uranus transits for the novelty. My Moon in Cancer opposing Mercury/ squaring Mars loves the "newness" they provide.Although not always smooth(wrote about that in another thread).

But Pluto can be scary.Pluto f*** stings. That is the planet that cuts to the cre of you.

The opposition to your Venus suggests a definite romance or a possibility for a partnership that shakes the ground.

I thought that Pluto in Cap would be easier for water signs. But I stand corrected. Pluto is in the "hard knock" sign of Capricorn that can be very cold especially for the ever feeling Cancer.

The best way to heal from such pain is to talk/write from the before/after perspective.

The opposition offers a lot of "retrospect" perspective and a striving for balanced outlook.More mentally charged outlook(thank god!)

You may want to pick up a self-help book(if you into that sort of thing). I would recommend Dr. Robyn Norwood "Women who love too much"

You will recover

The sign doesn't necessarily "change" per se. But it is said to progress from one sign to another.

Many are still divided as to whether r not to believe in progressed placements. But it is food for thought.

I can attest that I am now a new believer of such a thing.

I have Pluto square Venus Natally so I know this is why my world turned upside down. With a Tauras moon that trines my Pluto(Virgo)and sextile my mars(Cancer). Yes...yes and yes....it was tough! Everything you wrote makes complete sense. I did have to just cut him off abruptly, it was hard but the only way.

Thank you for your sweet words.
I will definitely look for that book...I think I really need it.
