Saturn may be the old devil but Jupiter can be the secret devil! Saturn went through my 6th house and wrecked my knee but ultimately it healed and the transit ended with me in great shape. Jupiter comes around is like, hey brother, Saturns gone and you're looking good. Here's a beer and go talk to that girl. And then I'm just stuck with the lipids  IP: Logged |

At least, you won't be anticipating a Saturn square to your Pisces stellium in 5...4...3...Jupiter is a sneaky little f*ck! He makes it all feel so great, too! It opposes my Mars so, the laziness is real. What happened in between the beer and the girl all the way to the lipids?  IP: Logged |

A lot of fun and then she moved to Argentina! Then I realized I gained weight. I was also traveling extensively which, was initiated and planned under a Jupiter something Mercury which left once the trip started and eventually replaced by Jupiter squaring the Sun while on the trip. And oh boy did I eat and spend money like a fool. Baaad timing. What's that stellium made up of? It's funny and weird because I feel like even though you're aware of it coming up you'll kinda just ignore it when it initiates and if I were to come up and say hey Dream, remember buddy you're under the jupiter influence you'll be all like oh koho you worry too much!! Edit: oh shoot it's a saturn transit not jupiter I'm so sorry -hugs- I check my transits regularly and completely disregarded jupiter sq sun til it left and then it retrograded BUT IM AWARE OF YOU NOW JUPITER DOOR IS LOCKED! Sorry I'm at Starbucks kinda studying and highly caffeinated

Man, I'm cracking up. Yeah, *hugs* for the beating I'm about to get from Saturn, huh? Your little skit was lovely while it lasted for that elongated minute or so. I appreciate the sympathy though (you too theunknown).Sounds sweet and short-lived. But food and travel is totally the dream. All I care for/about. I periodically tell my ma that I'd sell my soul for food or to be Anthony Bourdain (which is more 2 birds, 1 stone). So there's no hope for me, Koho. Well, I have Pisces Sun, Mercury, Venus and Saturn all conjunct in the first decan of Pisces (Sun and Mercury at 1 degrees) so that's gonna be great and I'll be relieved when Saturn moves away BUT OH NO GUESS WHAT!? It's gonna oppose my Gemini Moon!!!!! Let's hope I make it alive fellas. I need caffeine seeing that I have a paper due tomorrow. Yea not a big fan of jupiter in my 12th. It's making me extremely lazy & the job opportunities are just passing me by. The scary part is I AM actually making an effort, I guess I'm supposed to experience homelessness? Cuz I'm down to my very last & nothing is connecting for me. IP: Logged |

Be careeeffuulll! Just as long as there's no Saturn-Mars energy involved. I've seen that combination combine with other planets in a transit to spell big trouble. Even those two alone can bring trouble. But if Saturn brings you trouble just take it with style. You see, I'll have tSaturn conjunct Moon, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune in the 8th all squaring my Mars in the 12th. I totally expect horrifying dangers and accidents. And if I do get into the Coast Guard and I'm sailing during that transit I'm going to use that morbid transit to deliver a serious one liner to my Captain. Something ominous like 'Today is the day we all die Capt.' or something along those lines. I got a few years to develop a seriously good line and dramatic delivery. IP: Logged |

I KNOW!!! It's been on my Asc off and on, and now it's coming back for another round?! No thank you! I quit smoking in July, and I gained a tiny bit of weight, and then suddenly in September I was like "Whoa, I went up a size". And now after the holidays I'm like "Make it stop!" Ugh, I can't stand it either!!
Jupiter has been trining my 7th house Jupiter which is opposed my AC/Pluto/Venus.
I can't lose the 5 lbs that I've gained during this transit and it's so annoying! I hope it passes my 1st house placements soon so the weight goes away! It's exact sextile my Venus right now! IP: Logged |

I was surprised to see this bump! I am so sorry Jupiter is wreaking havoc on your waistlines too  I gained 30 lbs over the Jupiter sq Sun. I'm an already indulgent Taurus Ascendant so Jupiter transits are tough for me. On top of that I have Jupiter in the 1st natally. When Jupiter strikes me - it shows. I've struck back though. Saturn trine Mars came in and my discipline has been through the roof. All the money and calories Jupiter made me use up is under tight control now. I've lost 15 lbs and will be lean and mean again in about 1-2 months. There is salvation amigos, just keep it on your mind and strike when the energy is upon you :P IP: Logged |

Eh...hm.
Mars will be on my natal Jupiter soon, but sextile my natal Mars. I wonder if it will just cancel out.  I'm fortunate in that I was overly thin to begin with, but c'mon Universe! This is more than I wanted!  Oh well. It will be on my Moon/2H soon enough, so I would think that should help (after August). Hrmphh. I have similar experiences with transiting Jupiter!
My Sun is conjunct the ASC in Virgo and app. 11 years ago when Jupiter was conjunct both of them, I put on weight quite a bit. Then I tried to do something with it, was going to the gym etc.so it was much better ...
Also, during Jupiter’s last hit, I participated for the first time in an international voluntary project abroad and met lot of interesting people from various countries…. I kept doing these projects for many years afterwards.
So Jupiter had an expanding effect on me, on many levels... I think that Kannon McAfee was right in that Jupiter favours the expansion of self and if you don’t try to expand your consciousness then things might turn into indulgence with unpleasant consequences. Jupiter will again conjunct my ASC and Sun later this year and since I know the pitfalls, I will try not to put on weight and look for opportunities to learn new things, meet people, travel, etc...

I wonder what would be best to try to "expand" my Asc without gaining weight? I do generally agree that planetary energies are much more pleasant when we go "with" them, rather than against them, so I'm all for it. Anyone have ideas?
I have Leo Asc trine my Neptune and Eris, and opposite my Mercury/PoF. I've been meaning to henna my hair again, but somehow I don't think that will do the trick. IP: Logged |

you guys just said what needs to be said. but lemme add this. transiting Jupiter is now conjuncting my venus. and let me tell you this; I HAVE NEVER EATEN THIS MUCH DELICIOUS FOOD IN MY LIFE! I mean the regular food taste much better I can taste each ingredient when I eat something and I eat too much to taste them more. Really too much. But it's not like junk food. It's good quality food.
