I don’t think that the Pluto transit will be all that bad for water signs (Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer) actually. They usually want to dig deep and deal with the emotional world in any case.Aries also will not think this too challenging.Although for those with Moon/Venus in Aries, feelings may linger longer than usual and they may wonder why they just don't get rid of resentment as fast as they are prone to. Pluto may prove challenging for rational signs Libra and Cap. Though Cap conjuncts it, the influx of emotional energy will be something very new to these folks. Especially Venus/Moon in Cap. Libra will find it difficult to rationalize the extreme emotional reactions they have to things- as well as the extreme emotional reactions of those that they are in a relationship with. Especially those with Venus/Moon in Libra. With this transit, there will be a great deal of focus in relationships (opposition). You will be more interested (now more than ever) on the point of view of others or you may have to listen(whether you like it or not): Especially those that represent some authoritarian role in your life (Pluto). This is a time when you will have to find a way of merging your desires with theirs. Seeing things also from their point of view and be willing to work with them. And keeping your emotional outburst in check (Moon rules Cancer and is very emotional once placed here). Be careful also of people who will try to manipulate you or force you to do things their way(opposition Pluto). This is a time of compromise and you should not give in-if you feel that the agreement is unfair. Resentment may grow later. And it will be hard for you to just “let it go”. I know someone who got a very powerful position when their progressed Moon (Capricorn) formed an aspect (conjunction) to Pluto. They became the authority and their status was elevated. It was a very radical change. Another, who had a challenging natal Moon square (Moon in Libra) with trPluto earlier this year. He had to move out of home and try to dissociate with his mother: A very lengthy and painful experience for him. He is all she has and it’s hard for her to let go because she depends on him a lot. But he wanted more freedom (another way that Pluto can manifest I have the opposition aspect to my Moon in Cancer as well (by an orb of 6 degrees). And I started recently volunteering at a crises center for depressed people and those prone to suicide. Another way in which I can relate to people (Moon opposition) powerfully (Pluto). This transit may also bring with it a romantic relationship if single (Moon) that will have a strongly communicative (opposition) element to it. Mostly about really deep stuff (Pluto). It will be increasingly important for the person (opposition) to touch you (Moon) in a profound and deep way(Pluto). If one is already in a relationship (Moon), the transit could bring about an opportunity for the couple to air their views and relate (opposition) in an authentic way and even share long kept secrets (Pluto). If your partner does not come to the table, this transit may also expose (Pluto) a superficial/weak bond (opposition Moon). Or you may feel that you have outgrown (Pluto) your partner (opposition)and can no longer relate(Moon).

I have 7 degree Aries moon so Teansit pluto already squared my moon. My moon is also a skipped step so when it squared my moon it conjunct my NN. I left home on my own. It was a painful but very transformative period. The thing about pluto is you won't regret once it passes IP: Logged |

Ok so it seems that Pluto transits can be easier for water moon signs, although I am pretty sure it will still be very difficultBut how about Uranus??? Uranus will be squaring moon in 11th house Cancer as well? Any advice on this one also please? IP: Logged |

Uranus can be tough for water signs. Especially since it is transiting in Aries- a very abrasive sign.Aries is about charging ahead and looking to break boundaries.Cancer is about holding on tightly to what is safe and known. So you can just imagine what Uranus will do to Cancer(especially when its in its own home). Since the 11th house is where the Moon is expressed, that is also where these abrupt changes will happen. People you have affinity with(11th) could break away from you or want more freedom. Or you yourself could want a "change" from the groups you associate with. Perhaps even feel that they are "stifling" you in some ways or lack variety. This is a very generic description of how Uranus can affect your Moon. The 1 time Uranus affected my Moon(by opposition),I moved homes after having a car accident, But i wrote about that extensively on another thread. The positive side of this transit is that you may (finally)let go of any long-standing issues you have had with Mom/Dad/family (Moon) etc. In extreme cases, it means that someone you have come to depend on(Moon) is no longer reliable. or no longer there This transit can also come about when a maternal figure suddenly passes away(Uranus). But these are rare cases

Hi there this thread hasn't had a reply in about a year, so I hope you still follow it... Would you like some more exchange on these transits? Because I'm sort of in the middle of them right now... My moon is in 19 degrees Cancer. The opposition from Pluto is coming up for me starting late next year. But I'm just finishing up my opposition to Saturn at 13 degree Cancer. This has been a picture book rough Pluto transit - increasing the pressure with each time it became exact, culminating just a few weeks ago which resulted in me suddenly "getting" the lesson it was trying to teach me all along. It's funny that you can be a really conscious person and have astrology as a black on white manual for life....yet you never really see things coming until they hit you right in the face. Just like anyone else. So this is what went down with Pluto opposite Saturn: I started a new business right around the time that the transit first hit. My new business was not only a very logical transition of what I did the past ten years, but it seemed almost fated, like something I was always meant to bring to the world. Then I had a lovely Jupiter transit this fall (first sextile Saturn, then sextile moon with opposition to natal Jupiter at the same time, now a trine to MC coming up). During this period, even though things were starting to get a little tense financially, I felt relaxed. I felt like I could just lean back and let the universe do the work. So guess what happened next? My financial troubles were getting so severe because I didn't take precautions earlier, that I am now in danger of losing my house and everything else I've worked for in the past ten years. I have not choice but to go to the job center and apply for any kind of work they have lying around. I was managing director of a media firm just over a year ago.... My new business model is still promising so it's worth holding on to. But I made the mistake of not looking at the numbers properly, or not acting on time when all the warning signs were already there. So I will now have to do a ****** job until the time comes around that my new business will take off. So, what was this transit trying to teach me? It's so clear to me now.... humility, on the one hand. I can't do this on my own and no miracle will save me. Also, to never procrastinate tasks and difficulties. And get this: with Saturn being the ruler of my MC, I should have known this all along. This is a natal aspect that can take me to great lenghts, but it can also take me down at any time if I'm not careful. I can only hope I remember this because I still believe that my career will be taking me to great heigths. But I invited a glitch into my life that I will now have to work through - quite literally. I've had the square from Uranus to my natal moon for just over a year now. Events caused by this transit kind of mixed into the other events but this is what I think it's responsible for: Connected to my financial troubles, I now have to rent out parts of my home in order to be able to keep it. This is a big thing for me, as I haven't lived with anyone in ages. Also, this past year has been a phase of female companions leaving my life: One of my best friends for about 15 years suddenly decided that there was nothing left to connect us. My all female a cappella group, which was also my "gang", suddenly fell apart from one day to the next - incidentally on the day the transit was exact for the second time. It will be exact for the last time in March next year. I'm sure Uranus has another surprise in the bag for me. Having said that - Uranus transits are always scary for a brief moment, but I always find myself being pleasantly surprised by the result they then have. All the time. Like when I a cappella group fell apart, it took with it another two friendships which had run their course, without me really realising it... and it made room for building a new group, which is now bringing new friends into my life and also a more satisfying situation musically. So I'm always bracing myself for Uranus transits, but I'm also excited for them. This could be because of my Aquarian sun - I'm not scared of change in general. So there's that... in terms of Pluto transits, I have some rough years ahead. Next up is the opposition to moon, lasting from early 2017 to late 2018. Right after that, it will conjunct my MC in 23 degrees Capricorn. And just a few years after that, it will be conjunct my Sun at 5 degrees Aquarius. So really, I can just shrugh my shoulders at this point and hold on to my general trust that harsh transits and the lessons that come with them work for our own good, somewhere down the line. It's not the universe trying to punish us but to help us achieve some understanding about us and our true path. Since it can't write us any letters or signs (which we wouldn't believe, anyway...), it can only direct our life circumstances in a way that we will get it. And the experience will be repeated and repeated, with a little more pressure each time, until we get it. Just think how lucky we are that we know astrology - it can help us so much in understanding what the universe is trying to communicate. I don't know how other people do it.... So how about you? What pleasures did have Pluto in store for you?? IP: Logged |
