Hello,
Hope all is well!! I'll jump right to it.
As I continued delving into astrology looking for more answers to more and more questions I have finally decided to look into sidereal/verdic astrology.

Is this what I should of been looking into the whole time?

Can this answer more questions? (Although it creates twice as many. Lol!)
What should I learn first?
Have you looked into this?
So far I've tried to keep an open mind to it all as I have done before but so far this seems overwhelming and hard to grasp, is it because I'm jumping in to fast lol?
So please I need some advice, any advice to comprehend this subject/change or to keep it slightly simplified (if that is possible).

I don't really notice that much of a difference really.

Okay lol well I may be over reacting.
Although my whole chart has changed even the position of the slower moving planets like pluto. Which do you use sidereal astrology, tropical or both? I understand that the aspects such as conjunctions and trines with certain planets have the same meaning but does the "energy" (elements like fire, water etc) of the planets and aspects change depending on the constellations/signs?

I don't think the "energy" changes much. But I use western

Maybe sidereal seems a lot more fatalistic than western? That's why I avoid it? But overall,I really don't see much of a difference.

The thing that freaks out most people is when they "lose" their original sign placemnts i.e I am Venus in Libra(sidereal) and Venus in Scorpio(Western).

Now the energy of Libra and Scorpio is very different in both western and sidereal. So it makes many question the legitimacy of either one or the other(based on preference).

But I had my chart done by an astrologer a year ago. He emphasized that he preferred sidereal astrology but he was not that good actually

But I do recall thinking that much of what he said didn't surprise me or make me go "huh?"

I already knew a lot of stuff and would even complete his sentences(and that annoyed him because he wanted to appear allwise and "all knowing" )

Now if someone was to go more deeply and explore the degree placements and how they interact with each other.I'd be more interested

Or someone is able to describe my physical appearance, life history very intimately- based on my positions. I would trade in western for sidereal.

Until such time,I look at both as two sides of the same coin; saying a lot. But leaving a lot "open" to interpretation too.

But I hear that there are astrologers in India who cast birth charts for people who have yet to visit them. They just "know" that a certain person with certain placements will visit them on a particular day.

Would love to experience that.

The energies fit me because I have prominent Uranus and NN in natal 3H (Gemini's house) and a happy Jupiter in 9H (Saggis home). In Vedic I have a Gemini stellium and Sag Moon.
In Draconic I have a Sag stellium and Gem Moon.

That would be an experience lol no doubt!
I suppose it just seems different because its new. I found a decent explanation on another site:
http://www.astrologycom.com/vedictropical.html

Helped me put it in perspective slightly.

I dumped western astrology after discovering vedic.

Start slow.
Look up KRS on YouTube.

Start with his ascendant videos.
he's one of the best teachers out there!

Thank you! I took a break lol. My mind has to re-calculate things now lol and I'm just curious why or what made you decide to use verdict instead?
