So looking at these differences between the two signs, being right next to each other on the zodiac wheel causes some serious problems! Scorpio is probably going to be even more annoyed with Libra than Libra is with Scorpio, since Scorpio has shed Libra's 'purpose'. But despite how harmonious and peace-loving Libra can be, Libra can easily become annoyed with Scorpio for this reason as well... Libra wants someone to 'mirror' her and she can feel upset when Scorpio questions her motives, drives and desires. So what may start out as a relationship with intrigue and mystery [and mystery does appeal to Libra, just as much as it does to Scorpio!] may fizzle out into arguments and cold tension.

I adore Libra and Scorpio friendships, I've had the most crazy, weird fun times with Scorpio folks.

I think it helps a tad if the moons are compatible. I can't really say how the friendship pans out. It's entirely up to the individuals to work it out. We are all our own person, it's not possible to categorize and label all. It's completely subjective.

This is so interesting. I've found that I either really like Scorpios, or really do not like them. I began to like them MORE when my progressed Sun moved into Scorpio! Lol... but I have felt that as a Libra Sun with many Scorpio planets/influences I like Scorpios but may have a hard time with their understanding of the world [as I described above in my post of possible misunderstandings that could ruin a Libra/Scorpio relationship]. When my Sun was still in Libra, I really had an issue with some of them, especially my Scorpio family members, and I had zero Scorpio friends. Now my soulmate is a Scorpio, what a fun turn of events! Haha... I adore him and how he displays the traits of his sign. From 0 to 180 in a flash... and like that isn't Scorpionic in and of itself. LOL. Yay for P.Sun in Scorpio!

Those I get along with typically enjoyed exchanging ideas with me (they were typically mystics and/or philosophical intellectuals), particularly of subjects that were obscure, taboo, normally avoided by others, etc. But they do have a rep for being bull headed and dogmatic sometimes (and my Leo ASC could make me that way at times myself, though I think I shook off that energy easier) so I had to step carefully when I saw them tense up...and I also had to learn to stand up for myself as well. My literal BFF as a kid had an almost identical chart to mine (don't know where she was born or ASC, but outside of that it's almost identical save she was a Cappie moon whereas I have a Saggie moon, and she was a Scorpio sun on the Libra cusp while I was Libra on the Scorpio) but she did basically push me into having sex with a guy before I was ready (and age 15) as she thought it was what I needed for multiple reasons...I learned my lesson and never let myself to pushed into something I didn't want to be pushed into again, not even for a best friend.

Hmmm...my BFF as a kid was much less inclined to pick my brain than most friendly Scorpios (though she did, just not as much as most Scorpios I got close to, but still more than most people, possibly it was our age) and in that case she accepted (for awhile anyway) that I was a tomboy (and I accepted she was promiscuous) who would play the girl while I was one of the boys and pretty much have sex with the boys. In a way she treated me as one of the boys, but one she actually had an emotional intimacy with whereas she kept the boys at a distance (emotionally speaking).

It should be noted that I have a Scorpio Jupiter and that my Libra stellium is all on the Scorpio cusp and that probably makes a difference in how I get along with Scorpios.

Oh, and I was going to mention that the 'gap' between Libra and Scorpio is probably more easily bridged for both of us in certain situations because we both have Scorpio Venus - I've found that this has helped me relate a LOT to my S.O. because he has the same placement as well. Seems like Scorpionic people really can and do stick together.

It's weird, I'm not sure how to really explain it. With me it's always seemed as if they're testing me to see if I'm "worthy", if I can hang and handle their minds, if I get them even a little bit. Maybe it's my 12th house (Sun, Moon, Mercury) but I get the deep, emotional part. I get being on guard of your soul. I'm a very personable person, I like getting to know people, I enjoy talking and having intellectual conversations, however I am totally on guard when it comes to deep, personal things. Until I'm completely comfortable with a person, feel that I won't be judged, that whatever I say won't freak or creep that person out, I hold out and keep it to myself. I have many layers, I may share something that may seem deep to some, to me it's not even a puncture wound. I have special parts of myself that only few people really know about.

I'm extremely vulnerable when it comes to exposing those parts of myself. I expect that person, in which I share them with, to guard them with their life. By sharing them with that person I'm in a sense giving them parts of myself, and that to me is beyond sacred, it's life or death. If that person were to share those things it's as if what they told died with them. I'll expose what they shared but it's no longer me. I'll do whatever I can to get it out and then I don't go back. The friendship however is over.

There have been some Scorpios that I haven't liked and some whom haven't liked me. I may not always see the way they see things, because they all are their own person, but I compromise. I don't judge. I enjoy deeper conversation. I enjoy learning the deepest, darkest bits of people and sharing my deepest, darkest bits with them once we've met our comfort levels. My loyalty is what stands out. I won't sugar coat things if I don't agree. If I don't agree, I don't agree and expect it to not be held against me.

What you said about the gap being easily bridged for us because we have Scorpio Venus is so true. I relate very much and I'm positive it's why I'm a favorite amongst Scorpio friends or family members. I'm real and will give it to you straight regardless of it seeming rude or insensitive, I don't mean it to be rude or insensitive. I'm loyal, goofy, plain weird and a very good secret keeper.
