I have Uranus in 1st (eh, kind of 12th cusp) too! Its sounds though as if you are actually a godsend for technology since you are able to understand it and solve problems.

Does this sort of thing happen often? What aspects does your Uranus have?

I have Uranus in the 1st house conjunct my asc and conj Jupiter in the 1st. I love technology, but I don't know alot about it and can't fix things. I will hunt around for hours on a computer just to see what everything is and does. It's interesting to me. Haven't noticed things go faulty when I'm around but I have a friend who can't even go by a radio or it will go all static-y and she can't wear a watch because it will stop working. I need to do her chart and see if she has Uranus in the 1st. If I can get her info I'll do it and let you know.

I wonder if it is the retrograde too. I seem to be the person people go to for technology, and it hardly causes me any problems.

I can't remember but think mines retrograde.

I have a strange effect on technology and Uranus in first. Tend to break things, things turn on or off at odd moments. I avoid getting involved in anything of this nature because I hate it but having said that times I've really wanted to sort something out on a computer, troubleshoot, if I focus I surprise myself I can work it out - understand it without really understanding it somehow. Merc inconjunct Uranus

I have uranus conjunct Asc in 1H as well.

Electronics don't break around me though but like the above post if I play around with devices long enough I can figure out how things work and connected without really knowing the devices or computer..

Sometimes I feel like I can slow down musics coming out of my iPad or speakers.. I dunno if that has anything to do with uranus.. Lol
