I find that the wrongs people do to me, often resurface or replay in my mind and I have to create space between me and the person to resolve the issue.
Even though I do actually want to be close(r) to them!

What aspects traditionally make it harder to forgive and forget?

That would be a fixed sign trait.
They're notorious for their stubbornness.

One of Scorpio's main lessons is resentment and learning to let go of it and bitterness. So I would say look to Scorpio placements or aspects to the Ruler of or Scorpio house placements... Though I am sure there are others.

Forgiving and forgetting is a learned lesson for most Scorpios, part of the transformation process. Resentment is a poison that poisons the heart and soul and in the end hurts the one holding the resentment more than the ones the resentment is being held against... Am speaking from a place of experience, not judgement.

Aha! I am a Scorpio rising!
I'm trying to overcome resentment, I often think I am doing quite well until it is trigged by something.

And it's a fixed sign... so, I guess LaLaLinda has a point too!

You've got that one right.

Poisoned souls.

I'm somewhat Plutonian and this resonates so much for me, thank you.

I speak from experience that cap will never forget. But i do forgive, eventually, even tho i might give the cold shoulder with zero difficulty for a certain time. Feeling betrayed in some way just cuts us so deep.
