I was just browsing astro.com and came across the 'draconic chart option.

Just wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit more about these charts, and how they might be useful? Can you also point me to site where I can look at Draconic charts in synastry?

I have found that my draconic chart is significantly different to my natal chart - ALL of my planetary signs change!!!

All I know is that apparently, the draconic chart is your inner self as apposed to the natal chart which is the outer self.

LOL (I am not laughing at you). I am laughing at the fact that my understanding of myself might be a lie and now, there's perhaps more work to do!!!

Yeah I agree with this. I watched Alyssa Sharpe's video on draconic charts. She said that it is the chart of your soul, your true self. It is who you were when your soul entered your body and carried that personality on to your childhood before outer influences changed you and shaped you into your natal chart. It makes sense for me. In my draconic, I have Capricorn ascendant and I was serious as a kid and always wanted to get to the top. I also had only a few friends. My draco Sun is in Aqua and I felt very different from others as a child, etc.

To OP:
If you study your draconic chart more closely, you'll find out that it actually describes you when you were a kid. And again, it's because it was when you were a kid that external influences haven't changed you yet.

The draconic chart is, I feel, an extension of the natal chart. As much as the progressed chart is an extension of the natal chart.

So I wouldn't say that any one chart "cancels out" the significance of another.

What I would pay attention to- in as far as any chart is concerned, are transits.

Right now Pluto and Uranus square and oppose my draconic Sun in Libra respectively. This should signal an internal(Pluto)ego shift(Sun). That is what is happening!

This coincides with my Sun progressing to Aqua this year.It happened about 4 moths ago.

Uranus often signifies "moves" to change the external perspective. And that is what I did earlier this year-when Uranus transits were aspecting my Draconic Sun(by 3 degrees).

Jupiter also joined the party(by square) and I felt that I had to go from where I was staying.

And how is this for co-incidence.

On Friday I recived a message from an old somebody i knew.

He wanted to get toegether for dfrinks and catch up. I said that I'd call him during the day to talk more about it.

During the conversation,I realized that this conversation was not platonic at all. He was making advances .

I told him that i am currently involved and very much in-love.

He assured me that he didn't mean any disrespect and would settle for friendship. Which I doubt he would-knowing him

Get this.Transiting Venus was aspecting to my Draconic Sun by square( 3 degree orb) when we had the conversation.

And to add further to it. He is A Sun in Taurus(Venus ruled).

Could be coincidence. But just putting it out there.

I have always thought that the draconic charts represent our past lives and stuff/habits that we may still carry with us but it makes more sense to call it our soul chart. In my draconic chart i'm an aries sun, aries ascendant, and cancer moon. It's funny because that combo is alot more volatile and emotional than my cool and calm aqua sun, aqua ascendant, and taurus moon combo. But you know what? I really feel my draconic placements. In my inner world i'm much more emotional but that rarely if ever comes to the surface. I find draconic charts really interesting! What's funny is I sometimes pick up on other peoples draconic placements. Like sometimes I'll get a strong scorpio (or any other sign) vibe from someone and i'll look at their natal charts and they won't have any placements in that sign but i'll look at the draconic and see they have several placements in that sign and i'll think aha! Anyone else ever done that?

I don't really agree with this for a number reasons. For starters, my mom always says that I was such a calm baby and would sleep all night and rarely woke her up crying. That would seem to indicate that my natal taurus moon was really showing. I seriously doubt an aries/cancer (my draconic placements) baby would be calm. I have always been given to understand that we mainly express our moon signs when we are babies and grow into our sun and ascendants overtime which was indeed the case with me. I don't think I've ever really outwardly expressed my draconic placements.
