Aquaguy91, I have my chart ruler, Mercury, and my sun in the 12th house, so I know the struggles of that house. Luckily, I was brought up around a lot of mystics, empaths, hippies and intelligent humanitarians, so great belief and light has been well endowed within me. 12th house can also be your gifts that get you in trouble. I always find myself in a rut here and there for what I say, but hey, what can I say? Pisces has all the knowledge of the previous 11 signs, so once a Piscean influenced person just hops off the cross and chooses freedom, they will be amazed by how quickly their environment and state of being changes for the better. And just like that, when I realized, just like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, that all I need is within me, I became the free human I was always meant to be. And that's not just a tip Pisces influenced people could take. All signs benefit. IP: Logged |

I don't disagree with what you are saying but..... That's a little easier said than done. It's kind of like saying "i'm gonna go climb a mountain today". It sounds easy when it's coming out of your mouth but it's alot tougher when you're at the base of the mountain looking up and reality checks in.

I think most astrologers overplay the undertones of suffering and depression that relate to the 12th house, but what about the powers and true strength it gives the people born with this influence? Psychic/mediumship abilities, great empathy, creativity that surpasses this universe because it is connected to a divine source, a glamorous mutable image that intrigues people from all walks of life, those watery Neptunian eyes that gingerly give love, the healing qualities they usually have? And yet we as modern astrologers love bringing up the "pain" that the 12th house brings. I've seen more sad cases from people with 1st, 3rd, 6th and 10th house stelliums. Especially 10th house.
I agree. 12th house Mercury can be extraordinarily gifted in connecting to that space and really understanding other people in various states and places. I just had a fabulous experiencing connecting with the mindset of another person and it was very intriguing and enlightening. The challenge in getting to where you can connect to that energy and sometimes it takes wading through some murky stuff but mellowing out and connecting is a godsend and you can work at it until it becomes second nature. Wonderful, enlightening experiences await patient people who successfully find a way past the bad parts and into the light and knowledge. We have the benefit of finding what people take drugs to find except we don't need to ever take them. It's there for our taking we just have to use our minds and access it. Other people cannot naturally get there and they can mess themselves up trying, fall into a terrible pit, but we can experience success without much effort. IP: Logged |

This article is awesome. Thank you.I have Uranus in Scorpio, 4th house. I can see how that describes the home I grew up in. It describes the things that happened to me that were out if my control. It also seems to describe my home today, but in a different way. I have read that Scorpio in the 4th isn't an easy placement. My home is not chaotic, but changes (huge changes) come out of nowhere. I feel like the only way to avoid dysfunction in my home is to embrace the changes rather than resist them. I am therefore a VERY unconventional mother. People mistake me for the older sister who must have had something happen to her parents....life is hard. When children have to start eduring the trials of life, they deserve respect. All people deserve respect anyway. Babies deserve respect. IP: Logged |
