Hi, I'm sorry you have to go through this.
I have the same placements and I'm conflicted internally all the time. Scary, depressive Scorpio thoughts and rational, idealistic Aquarius.
On a good day, you can have best of both worlds, emotions and rationality. It goes wrong often though.
I'll keep my eye on this thread.

Having Sun in Air and water Moon makes the emphasis of dark thoughts a prevalent thing.

I have a buddy who has Sun in Aquarius/Moon in Pisces and he has a chronic mental condition that relapses. He goes to a lot of crippling dark places- in his head.

I wonder if this is a pattern with Sun in Air/Moon in water types? Or is there something about having the Mercury in water(which he has)or Mercury/Jupiter or Mercury/Neptune aspects that seem to make it even worse?

1.Where is you Mercury by sign and house?

2.Where is your Sun/Moon placed by house?

3.Are there aspects of Jupiter/Neptune to personal planets?

4.Where is your 3rd house cusp? And where is the ruler placed?

Can I answer your questions even though I'm not OP? This topic concerns me...
1. Mecury combust Sun in Aquarius 8th house

2.Moon in on my 5th house cusp in Scorpio

3.Jupiter in Pisces (last degree) trines Moon and Neptune in Aqua squares Scorpio Mars as a focal planet in a T-Square with Saturn

4. My 3rd house cusp in in Libra, Venus is in Pisces 9th house

Thank you..

Do you also find yourself chronically depressed or thinking self-destructive thoughts?

Maybe you should post your whole chart?

I often find Sun in Air/Moon in Water fascinating.

I have Sun in fire/Water Moon and we are on the same boat. My enthusiasm is stunted by a compulsiveness to fret and worry.

Whilst in your case, the same emotional turmoil messes up with your ability to reason and detach long enough to know what the fudge!!

I'm not chronically depressed and my thoughts aren't self-destructive, but oftentimes I find myself in a state I can't escape even though I know it doesn't make any sense.

I fluctuate between confidence and feelings of alienation and self-hatred.
We truly are on the same boat, I'm a such a worrier too..
My chart is here

Thank you once again!

For dark thoughts,I tend to look at Pisces/12th house/Neptune aspects.

I look at Scorpio/8th house/Pluto aspects.

I also look at Capricorn/Saturn aspects.

Your sun is placed between 7th and 8th. But its conjunction to Mercury moves it to the 8th house. And so i will consider it to be in the 8th house.

Sun in 8th people often want to love deeply and have a serious outlook about them.

Many tend to become ambitious and use the innate reserves for research to self develop and become "masters of their destiny".

Others get consumed by the calls to look within and become scattered in a world they cannot get out of: Where their livelihood or feeling "alive" is when a crises happens or when they feel things fall apart in their lives.Sometimes they themselves become a catalyst for such things and purposely create such atmospheres to feel "alive"..

Both Sun in 8th people however are concerned with living from the inside out.Superficial living becomes less and less appealing as one grows older and bolder.

Now having Mercury there also suggest a penchant for dark thoughts. Or a love of deep subjects. But Uranus widely conjuncts the Sun/Mercury conjunct in 8th.

This is good as Uranus may "jolt" you out the funk that the 8th house can take you in.

I like the Moon in 5th,I like its square to Uranus. That's exciting and should produce interesting hobbies and recreational activities. If not interesting romantic conquests.

But I am in two minds about Pluto in 5th.

Pluto tends to emphasize the Scorpio qualities and takes them to extreme. Swinging back and forth.I wonder if your love life is one emotional roller coaster ride? Especially since Venus also squares Pluto? It can produce very potent emotional reactions.

But even that is small fry.Not when I see foggy Neptune messing with your Saturn natally. That's tough.

Neptune-opposes Asc. Gentle exterior.
Neptune square Saturn- The material world and relevance dissolves and confusion starts.
Neptune square Mars- Lethargy, confusion and easily overwhelmed.

I also don't like its combination with Saturn

Saturn opposite Mars- boxed expression. "Can't get out of the box" feeling.
Saturn square Asc- No one could possibly understand me

Both Saturn and Neptune mess with your Asc (the self)and Mars(will power). Both these planets can at one point make things seem extremely hard(Saturn) and then at other times make you feel like "what's the point of even trying?"(Neptune).

The clash of your head and heart(Sun/Moon square) adds to the tension and makes you feel like you are at war with your feelings or inner self.

How was the Saturn transit for you?

Thanks so much for your reply!
I always though I had Sun in 7th but what you wrote makes much more sense.

I always find myself digging deeper and deeper and looking back.
Moon in 5th square Uranus attracts fun experience with unusual people, it's true. I love it. Those people also accept me the way I am.
You're right about Pluto, what happens to me is flings with potent emotional backfire!
Saturn and Neptune messing with my ASC are a spot-on. I sometimes deal with people who don't get the vibe I give off - too tough or too detached.
I'm not very educated on transits but I've been craving intimacy during this time. Having Saturn on my natal Mars, I felt like being forceful about achieving my personal goals.
I'm sorry for hijacking this thread.

I feel bad for giving you the gun

But I just wanted to add that Saturn in Scorpio transit to your natal Sun/Moon/Mercury/Mars/Uranus/Neptune planets must have been quite a roller-coaster

Moon in Scorpio is wedged into that 3 planet conjunction of Aquarius Mercury/Sun/Uranus:Making it very difficult to express that longing without backtracking and changing your mind about it.

Moon in Scorpio craves sexual intimacy, close relationships and uninhibited sharing.Whilst the Aquarius placements don't mind intimacy- as long as its on an intellectual plane.

If things get a little too emotional or intellectually inexplicable. They have a tendency of pulling back- just to get a perspective.

But these are the times that Scorpio Moon needs to get even closer. It can be very confusing to the native and to the person that they are involved with.

This push/pull dynamic I suspect was highlighted by the Saturn in Scorpio transit.

First it transited Neptune- Crashing any illusions that you may have clung on to. This includes your Asc(by square).

This aspect could have one become very disappointed as things that they have believed to be one way, turn out to be another. The cold hard facts cannot be denied any longer. How one looks may also have been affected i.e "I don't think that I am all that attractive " etc.

Then it moved to Mars. The conjunction has a tendency of making one feel restricted in expressing themselves fully.

There is reservation and holding back. the energy of Mars tends to be conserved for really important things. As it is likely that the energy levels are more steady (Saturn) than powerful(Pluto) or sporadic(Uranus).

It also can make one very resolved and single-minded in putting all their effort and energy into one thing. Usually something that is manual and requires physical energy;house remodeling, fixing something etc.

I re-joined the gym years back when tSaturn conjunct my Mars in Libra. It wasn't because of a "burst of energy"- NO.

But it was rather a resolve to do something productive with the energy I have and conserving it to yield tangible results.

When it moved to square your volatile Uranus in Aquarius, that suggests volatility. Uranus is rebellious and Saturn stepping in on its turf gets it up in arms.

There is a need here to "break away" from conventions suddenly and irrevocably. But the timing is usually off. Accidents and regrets can happen a lot at this time because of risk(Uranus)and timing(Saturn) not working side by side.

The move of Saturn to Mercury usually surfaces doubt and limitations to ones intellectual abilities.

Suddenly things that were easy to grasp take more time now. Or one could miss important details that come up to bite them later.Delays are frequent and annoying.

This is also intensified by the square aspect to Sun. That's when people often need support as they start to doubt or re-evaluate their life path/goals(Sun).

This aspect also coincides with trPluto /Uranus on your MC. The career path or direction undergoes serious changes and evaluation.

The final interaction with Moon in Scorpio conjunct can make one feel isolated and alone. There is a need for intimacy, yes. But the availability of it is scarce because few really understand. Or at-least that is how one feels.

Usually this is also a time of enhanced responsibilities in the home. Where people expect one to be "together" and handle things. No one expects them to be emotional or fall apart.

And the saying that goes "its lonely at the top" or "the leader is the one who bears most of the brunt" could not be more true at this junction.

Now both Pluto and Uranus move even slower than Saturn. So it is likely that when tr Saturn Sagittarius conjunct your natal Pluto, trUranus/Pluto will still be busy on the MC.

All I can say is changes, changes, changes. So buckle up and write a book when it is all over.
