So, my 8th house ruler resides in my 2nd house, which subsequently opposes my 8th house moon; how would you interpret this? Does this suggest material wealth in a sexual context, like acquiring an abundance of dildos!?!?

But seriously, what does it mean? I'm interested in what you guys think.

What planet opposes the Moon?

Moon in 8th suggests a difficult relationship with the mother. It could be that she was not around or the nature of one's upbringing(Moon) was not emotionally satisfactory.

As such,the Moon in 8th goes around looking for intimate relationships to fill the deep "well" within. Especially if the Moon is in a water sign or aspected by Neptune/Jupiter/Pluto.

But the 2nd house/8th house connection usually suggests that one makes money or need for physical security is tied to sex(re-iterating what I said above).

It could also suggest that sex becomes a survival need. Or one makes money through connecting intimately with others.

I think of this placement as the exotic dancer: Using the allure of sex(8th) to pay the bills(2nd).

Or the investment banker(8th) whose intimate dealings with his clients earns him a lovely sum of money(2nd).

Yeah, I probably should have mentioned that it's my Sun that opposes my Moon. Also, just to complicate matters, Chiron forms a t-square from my 5th house cusp! Could this mean I find healing through children and as a result, catalyses the 2nd/8th house energies?
