Hey everyone,

I learned astrology via the usual **** poor interpretations on the internet and used my own intuition to make up for it. I finally got over my cheap nature and shelled out for the Stephen Arroyo book(USED!!) and I am very very satisfied so far. I'm only at page 25 but the writing is clear and superb. The interpretations go well with my intuition and logical deductions. It will really take me a notch up.

Aside from making this post to encourage everyone to have this in their library I wanted to ask something of those who have read it.

What is the most valuable thing you took from this book and what should I read extra carefully?

It's hard for me to break down because it is such a fluent read as a whole. Although, and also, I was impatient to read about aspects so started with that then just flicked back and forth.

What I immediately recall are the little quotes under the chapters like: for a trees branches to reach to heaven, it's roots much reach to hell. Or something like that. And it being possible to sit in one room without windows and know the whole universe. Again, something like that.

Those small quotes had a profound effect on me assimilating all the knowledge.

Otherwise in general, I found the aspect info very valuable but without going into the individual parts..... And the outline of those planets too. And, the look at the energy of aspects like squares etc themselves.

But I don't think I've fully ploughed the book to even know.
