I see people here are feeling a relief about Saturn leaving Scorpio.
I'm now confused. Saturn is leaving my 1st house Sco but entering the 2d one. And will be there for approx. 4 years ...

Now tell me how bad this could be compaired to the 1st house transit? Saturn and finances keeps me worried.

Saturn in 2nd means that its time to get your finances in order.

You may be concerned with losing your income, losing your wealth or at-least finding ways to conserve/protect it.

You have spent money many times before, but with Saturn transiting the 2nd, your avenues to fill up your jar once it runs dry will become less and less accessible.

You can always ask Mom and Dad for that extra loan. But there will be that inner voice that says "aren't you too grown to ask to be bailed out?".

If that doesn't happen, you may notice that Mom will be less thrilled about loaning you money.Making you feel like a burden etc.

Its a time to grow up and learn to conserve your spending habits and use the little money that you have very wisely.

Aries23Degrees, would Saturn have the same imapct (as you desribed for Freesia), if you have your natal Saturn with Venus/Uranus/Neptun in conjunction in 2nd House (in Capricorn)?

Because of Saturn in 2nd I already now have worries about finances...

If you have survived the Uranus/Pluto transit to those planets in the 2nd, you can see yourself through the Saturn one.

Saturn will travel through your 2nd house cusp now. A nice "practice" run for when Saturn reaches Capricorn.

I think Saturn aspecting your Moon(ruler of 9th) may have you traveling less. You could even conserve your spending a little. Things could settle down(emotionally) and there could be less excitement all around.

But I think it is when Saturn lands in Capricorn that the fireworks will start. Because that is when it will touch your Venus/Saturn/Uranus conjunct and square natal Moon.

I have Sun/Neptune/Jupiter conjunct in Sag natally. Uranus is just before the 3 planet conjunct. So We'll hold each others' hand when isht hits the fan

I am not scared of transit.I don't believe that they are beyond managing.I just never want to miss an opportunity to "grow" spiritually and intellectually.

Saturn will affect all these planets in the 9th. and I have been thinking of traveling lately. getting out and seeing what is out there-instead of reading it on the papers.

My 9th is - thank God - empty.

But yes, as you said, there is always an opportunity to "grow" spiritually and intellectually. I try to hold on that.

I'm not looking forward to it but I think in the long run this saturn transit in my 2nd house will be good for me. I like to spend my money as soon as I get it and I need to learn to save properly.

I also have jupiter conj uranus natally in my 2nd house, so I'm interested to know how this is going to work out.

I have jupiter transiting my 10th house at the moment, so maybe this is good for career/money matters? I'm not sure how to measure the strength of either planet in this case - Natal saturn in scorpio conjuncts ascendent in libra, so my chart ruler is venus, which lies in the 10th house.

Jupiter is a slow moving planet and like other slow moving planets.Especially when they retrograde. It has the effect of "frog in heated pond".You know the analogy right?

A frog sits on a cool pond. The minute you raise the heat up, he jumps to a cooler place. But when you increase it staedily, he doesn't notice and literally "cooks" to death

Sad story I know.Sorry. It describes the transits of oouter planets very well IMO.

So Jupiter in 10th won't make things happen all at once. That's Mars that does that. But what it can do is improve things here and there- usually in dribs and drabs.

Much like how we gain weight(Jupiter avenue). It happens in a slow gradual process. Unless we are serious gluttons. Then all that will not apply.

So your career prospects/faith in your career improves.Your relations with authority improve. You start to feel more positive about where you are going in life. Your professional popularity improves etc.

So when Saturn hits your 2nd with Uranus and Jupiter there, you may have quite the tussle with Saturn. As both Uranus and Jupiter are so used to doing what they want to do that having a substitute teacher(in the form of Saturn) will not be pretty.

You may get resentful to having to forgo or postpone getting what you want. Your spending habits may alternate exponentially between impulse buying and being miserly. Your confidence may even take a knock!

Life will feel a lot more serious and you will start to really understand the value of money as well as what personal security and happiness actually mean.

And I think in as far as your placements are concerned,"financial freedom"- indicated by Jupiter/Uranus in 2nd will be two words that you will truly (albeit temporarily)miss.

I should also mention my mars is conj venus in the 10th too.

I have NN and chrion in gemini in the 8th as well as moon in gemini in th 9th. Have a feeling this transit is gonna be tougher than my saturn return(which wasnt brilliant but not soo bad), I also have pluto in libra conj saturn natally, not sure how that affected the impact of my solar return.

With regards to my money, I have started noticing the effect already. Oh and my Jupiter and Uranus are 3 and 5 deg in Sag, respectively.
