So recently I got a reading done by two different astrologers. The first one used the placidus system and the second one used whole signs. Between these two systems my planets completely change houses. The interpretation of both of these astrologers was different. The overall idea of what they had to say about the chart was consistent but some major details differed. For example, both had a different view about the type of spouse that I will get - one said he would be saturnian and the other said he would be jupiterian. So I am kind of confused who to believe now. Does using different house systems skew the interpretation this much? If yes how do we know which one is more accurate and which one to believe?

I guess it has something to do with the house-ruler of the 7th. One time it is in Saggitarus and one time it is in Capricorn.

Many people in here use the Placidus-house system and others use the Equal-house system. I prefer the Koch-house system, because it resonates with me.

I think that astrologers are limited in interpreting chart-based on their own level of experience as well as expertise.

The best predictor of future experience is past recollection. Unless something drastic happens to alter everything and turn things topsy turvy.

If you have dated many people in the past/ felt strong attractions for those who have Jupiter heavy connections. It is likely that that will be your choice of marriage partner.

Personally, I believe more in the "opposition" effect for strong attractions. But that is a discussion for another thread I will start soon.

When the house placement of the planets change, the story changes. Before I start doing a reading, I ask simple questions based on the house placements ( also take signs & aspects into consideration )..

The answers tell you which system to use.
Sometimes Placidus, sometimes Whole sign is more relevant.

And love is a mystery... Don't narrow your options by strictly following astrology. I have Mars in Sag and the guys I have fallen for were always too short and a bit dishonest.. complete opposite of what the cookbooks say. My 7th house is Cancer and no never in my life I was attracted to a Cancer man but can be very good friends with them. My moon is in Gemini and yeah I am into Geminis but they are not the only ones Virgos, Scorpios, Pisces and Leos...

Ahaha pretty much the whole zodiac when u include the asc and moon signs as well
