First of all, the symbolism of the Sun in one respect relates to the father. Sun in aspect to both Uranus and Saturn suggests a disruption in the father-child bond and that the father may have been physically absent or remote and detached. The father may have been unsupportive, judgmental, or critical or not present. He may have faced much hardships in life. You have a tendency to be rebellious and independent and not like being told what to do. If you identify with Uranus more than Saturn, it's likely that you don't like authority figures. You'll project Saturn onto other people who you may experience as too conservative or narrow in outlook, authoritarian, materialistic, or who you experience as restricting or limiting. Some of these traits may describe your father. You may be something of a contradictory character. If circumstances were unfavorable in relationship to your father, working on a healthy ego identity and self-confidence are likely to be important issues to work on. You've probably faced much struggle in life and been presented with challenges to overcome. You're likely to want to go your own way in life. One of the main themes of your life will be to integrate two very different archetypal principles. One being about stability, order, authority, tradition and continuity, control, structure, discipline, the status quo, and the other about change, the new, the revolutionary and visionary. Sun square Sun- Sudden changes of mind, sudden inspiration, sudden decisions and sudden impulses are characteristics of this aspect. You like to do things on a "whim". Very spontaneous. Do you find it tough to keep appointments? Change your mind a lot about outfits? Love it when there is a change in schedule? I have natal Sun on the midpoint of Mercury/Uranus exact. So its very similar. The opposition calls for balance. And Sun-Saturn is no different. The Sun is excessive,Saturn is prudent. The Sun says "let's go", Saturn says "be careful". The Sun says," what do you feel like doing?",Saturn says "Make plans". It manifests on two ways; 1. You are constantly editing yourself so that you moderate(Saturn)the "excessive" (opposition)traits of your personality(Sun). Or you may inhibit(opposition)a lot of your creative expression(Sun)through a filter of "Is it practical for me to do this?" (Saturn)etc. 2.You may be attracted to Saturn types; leaving all the "laying down the foundations" to them. So that you can devote yourself to the traits of the Sun. So this means that your friends/partners are a lot more cool-headed than you.Probably even picking up after you and ensuring that you don't go "overboard". This may build resentment over time even separation because they can be so "serious", "cynical","restrictive","cold","hard to please","inflexible","narrow" etc. But if you don't "own" your Saturn traits ,you may find that this pattern repeats itself again and again.
