Hey guys. I have a friend who has his Mars Square My Mars. His Mars in Leo. My Mars in Taurus.

Recently our double whammy Moon-Venus aspects have created a real magical feel to our friendship. But every once in a while the we'll disagree and we'll do battle in front of people making our joint church buddies VERY uncomfortable.

I really want to build my friend up, not tear him down. What can be done to kill off this tendency to **** each other off.

Hey Regulus18
Let him do his own thing and have his own ideas. Just because they conflict doesn't mean they're wrong. They just might make you sensitive to the fact that your way might be wrong, and vice versa with him. And find ways to detach and just sit back and admire his passion and strength and how he expresses his Leo Mars in his life. Force yourself to take a back seat. Lead by example. Maybe encourage him toward arts and the like; ask about his projects & tell him about what you're working on building or sustaining, or whatever your Taurus Mars is about. The contrast in the energies /should/ work to give you clarity about your drives and aims..if they're not well-defined that can lead to tension.

And if it's too much to handle you can always relax and spend time with other Earth Mars peeps, feeling all accomplished and stuff

Thanks Lonake.

You took the words right out of my mouth. Take a back seat. I tried that today and the guy came right around and admitted he was wrong hours later. I don't have to always cut him off. I have a choice.

It will require some patience and work, but I think this aspect can be mitigated. The friendship means so much to me, I don't want to hurt this guy. I want to love this guy and lift him up in God.
