I think you may strongly identify with the Scorpio Asc and much of what is written about will apply to you. Well at-least how you approach things, how others respond to you and your external appearance.

But I would also like to say that the Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus/Mars positions will have their say too. So don't be overly focused on just that one side of you.

Yes yes, i have also venus in scorpio in the 1st, my sun is in libra in the 11th.. I don't really relate to libra at all.. I'm not happy go lucky type or very outgoing, when i read about libra i can't relate at al.. My moon is in gemini in the 8th.. I do relate a little to gemini moon also scorpio moon hence the 8th house placement..

i have the same thing going on. scorp asc with pluto in scorpio conj the asc.

i would say that yes, this does make you "more scorpio"..scorpio themes, interests, and energy colors your world. i'm guessing you are a person who has gone through a lot of big changes.

Another odd thing is.. I ONLY attract Scorpio friends.. All my friends have Scorpio sun, so what is that all about lol

Thing is,when reading a chart, I like to consider the whole sign system for general perspective and then go to the degree placements-for the specifics.

The combination of the two sometimes make a difference in interpretation.Especially if more than half of the sign is located in the previous/following house.

In the whole sign system, your Sun in Libra is in the 12th house . Therefore making it "hidden" from your view. Which is why you may have an over-identification with Venus/Pluto in the 1st house.

But nevertheless, the combination of the Sun in 12th and 11th placement suggests a person who is very appreciative of the friends they have.

Your friends could love your "personal touch" as you seem to be a person who is exclusive and very much engaged in them(Sun in Libra in 12th/11th).

Add to that that your Sun is ruled by Venus- Pluto's opposite sign.This could also be very attracting to Scorpio's. They may like the eloquent way you articulate things as well as your balanced outlook-which they perceive as calming and soothing.

Scorpio tends to be a sign that is extreme by nature. But it also tends to loathe this same extreme temperament in others; preferring a more calm (Taurus),reasonable (Capricorn)and even sometimes mild(Pisces) person to associate with.

This is why their attraction to Taurus(their opposite)as well as Pisces(Neptune is the "higher" octave of Venus)can be so strong.

Your chart ruler would be both Mars and Pluto, not just Pluto.

I saw that you commented that your Venus in Scorpio is also in the 1st and that you don't relate very much with your Libra sun. Do you relate with Aquarius/Uranus at all?

I am also a 1st house Venus in Scorpio, it's very strong at 1 degrees, as well as Venus being my chart ruler, I'm Libra rising. My sun is also in Libra in my 12th as well as my Moon and Mercury. My Jupiter is in my 12th but is in Virgo. I relate very much with both Pisces and Scorpio and am neither.

The house position of a planet will affect both that planet and sign. They all work together. Add in aspects and it's even more affected. The aspect itself also matters.
