Hey guys! Everyone is welcome : )! ok so I wanted to start a thread where alwe can all come together and talk about saturn in out charts, it's aspects, our fears & what are you are doing or plan to do to face them head on.

1. What house/sign is ur saturn in?
2. What harsh aspects is it making?
3. What is saturn's influence making u afraid/insecure about?
4. How are you working on your fears?

ME:
1 saturn in pieces in the 8th house 😢
2 Saturn squaring my gem sun & Virgo chiron
3 I'm totally uncomfortable with intimacy with men both physical & emotional! A guy I work with literally messaged me last week and ask me to hang out with him and I panicked & broke out in hives just from the invitation alone. Also I feel like me dad didn't give me enough hugs/affection growing up & emotionally he was a stone wall (capricorn)
4 I am currently trying to sort out my emotionally damaged view of intimacy by "warming" my cold emotions by having random emotional moments with family & friends where I just tell them how much them mean to me.<3

Your turn
Btw, I am only 20 to if anyone who is old and feels like they have "mastered" thier saturn placement could comment all well I think we could all benefit.

------------------
5* Gemini Sun, 10th H
25* Sag Moon, 5th H
26* Gem Mercury, 11th H
5* Cancer Venus, 11th H
2* Taurus Mars, 9th conjunct MC

1. 12H Leo Saturn
2. Opposing Mercury, squaring Uranus, quindecile Sun, in mutual reception with sun
3. Makes me insecure about spirituality
4. Working on my fears by trying to amass courage and knowledge

Saturn in Taurus, 7th house, opp Jupiter in 1H.
ETA: Saturn also conj DSC and opp ASC.

I'm afraid that I will never really learn to be independent, that I will never be able to be in a relationship without losing myself.

Not that I particularly mind being lost in a relationship. I think 7H Saturn sort of "requires" that. But my highly Saggie self knows that I need to learn to be "me" (whoever that is) and not be so mutable all the time. IE, not morph myself into another.

Yep. I sense an opposition there! LOL.

ETA: Oh... How will I face this/change this?! I don't know. But being aware of it (which I wasn't really until not long ago) is already a big big help!

Interesting topic! And love the emphasis on working out our fears. You inspired me to take a closer look at my Saturn placement, which I haven't thought much about since it's kind of depressing. :P (How Sagi of me to think so.)

1. Saturn in Sagittarius in the 1st house
2. Conjunct Sun, Mercury, Uranus; Square Mars, Jupiter, and possible Midheaven (I'm a little skeptical of my exact birthtime)
3. Insecurity and lack of confidence can plague me, until I snap out of it for awhile. From a young age I was piled with responsibility and was always told I looked old for my age. The Mars square Saturn conflict is an apt description - often I'll strive forward with something with energy and then get pulled up short, lacking something. So "stop and go" is a common theme.
4. Learn to tolerate my own foibles more, learn to love the good in myself and don't be afraid to make mistakes. I'm feeling myself loosening up as I get older. Discovering my meditation practise several years ago provided a deep sense of security, so the world doesn't seem so scary anymore.

@PlutonicGemini94 A great but important challenge in life! What's your Venus sign?

@Faith It's interesting about Saturn in 12th making you insecure about spirituality, yet you're interested in astrology. How do you tend to use astrology in your life?

1. 5H Sag
2. Squares sun (1 degree) and squares mercury (7).
3. I'm insecure about talking and putting myself out there. If my opinion or thought is something that might be deemed "outside of the box", I don't say anything out of fear of ridicule.
4. Recently, I've been writing down my "crazy" ideas. I've been sharing the ideas with people. I started a website for one of my favorite hobbies and was a strong creative force behind it (and learned quite a bit of programming). I'm learning that it's ok to share ideas and people actually support them.
Writing and drawing in my spare time also helps. Singing out loud (something I would almost never do before) is something I started to do as well. No one seems to mind lol.

I have not mastered Saturn placement yet but I am starting to go through a Saturn return period (3x this year). So far, just a lot of work stress and feeling like I am wasting time that I can spend enjoying.

I'm glad I Inspired you to look closer at ur saturn situation ,they say the best way to get over a fear is to tackle that bad boy head on lol. & don't worry my sag moon can make me want to avoid "depression" stuff too lol oh & my venus in cancer in the 11th, actually trining my saturn. Wow ur aspects remind me a lot of my moon in sag 5thH, square my gem sun , I completely feel u on the whole being afraid to put urself out there, & the singing out loud part is really smart lol is be too nervous someone would hear me . Also good job on keeping a journal for u to write ur feelings & ideas in, that will help u get them out.

Leo Saturn in 11H opp. Capricorn Moon, conjunct Cancer Venus, square Taurus Jupiter 9H and Scorpio Uranus 3H. I am afraid (but want to be in) the "limelight". I also alternate between wanting complete freedom (Uranus) and stability and control (Saturn).

Hello!

My Saturn is in Aries in my 5th house. I don't like having it in its fall, but anyone born in the same year as me has the same placement so it doesn't bother me too much.

The aspects aren't too bad either. There are quite a few easy sextiles and trines, but they feel overpowered by the hard aspects which is a quincunx to mars (horrible aspect), a sesquiquadrate to my asc, and another quincunx to my midheaven. I really want to break free and be confident, fun loving, outgoing etc. but I'm scared as to how people will perceive me. :/ Apparently a 5th house Saturn needs to learn to "let go".

Ah, young Gemini Padawan, the word you search for is "mature". Resist the dark path of the Sagittarius moon, for their ways are blunt...

As for the topic at hand, I am "mature" enough to qualify for membership in AARP. Mastered Saturn? More like learned to accommodate him.

Saturn Pisces sR in 4th. Part of one (or two depending on orb) T squares with Mercury Gemini and Uranus (and Pluto) Virgo, *and* Trine Venus and NN Cancer and (widely) Scorpio Asc for the GWT... *whew*

Fear? My Leo moon would say it like this:
"Dying cold, alone, naked, in the snow". In other words, loss of home, family, love. Feeling it very keenly lately after the death of my mother, and the breakup of a LTR.

1. What house/sign is ur saturn in? 2nd House in Aquarius

2. What harsh aspects is it making?
Opposite Sun/Mercury/Chiron, Square Pluto Inconjunct Venus

3. What is saturn's influence making u afraid/insecure about?
I'm afraid I'm not good enough, afraid people will judge me if I really show my true self.. I really love music, I especially love singing but I never sing in front of anyone cuz I'm so afraid people will make fun of me or judge me.. I'm afraid to step into the spotlight I guess.. ironic since my username is shineyourlight haha

I also feel like a total failure alot for not doing the things I love and letting this fear control me so much..

4. How are you working on your fears?
The last couple of months have been pretty good though, I've been facing most of my fears head on, not overthinking anymore just doing it, letting go and just having fun with it.
The music part is still an issue though.. I've been taking small steps like singing loud at home even though the neighbours might hear me lol but I'm thinking about taking music lessons to get me past that fear..

1. 4th house Sag
2. Aspects my 6th house of Aquarius where Venus sits, 10th house of Gemini, and my ascendant in Virgo

3. A -I am insecure about my looks and the way I project myself.
B-I am insecure about how I raise my children (ie: if they are going to grow up and be productive).
C-I am insecure about how people will look at me when they find out Im not Christain (I live in the bible belt and come from a family of bible thumpers. Almost everyone I know attends church or at least claims christain faith)
D-I am insecure about the job I do. Even though I know I did my very best, until I get praise Im sweating it, heavily
E-I fear most out of everything stomach ailments. No, no, and no

4. A-Just putting myself out there and allowing myself to fail and ese that its not the end of the world. Not everyone is going to like me and thats okay, that is their problem to work through, not mine.
B-Im trying to enjoy my children more. Not be such the "robot" parent. Taking time to play games instead of staying overly on top of them about clean rooms and neat drawers
C-While I may never tell my grandparents I have chosen another path (they will go to their death beds believing they will never see me again because I will be burning in hell and I dont want to stress them out) Im standing up for it. Im letting people in, slowly
D-Im trying to relax in the thought that I know I did the very best I could and that it wont be the end of the world if its not perfect
E-I struggle with this one on a daily basis. Its a serious phobia. Im trying to get over it by realizing that every growl or noise does not mean the night will be spent in the bathroom

1. Capricorn 8H
2. It only conjuncts my Venus, Uranus and Neptune
3. Like you, I grew up with an emotionally cold father who thought he showed love through just being a parent and being tough on me. I rebelled and rebelled and still spoke my mind even though it never did anything. Needing to control my feelings is another thing. It took me a while to realize that I am lovable and that I have a hard time opening up to love..the people I feel I could truly fall in love with always enter the picture while Im in a relationship. I think that is the most important thing Im facing right now.
4.Being true to my feelings and accepting the deep love I so desire...the electricity in my body never lies

1. What house/sign is ur saturn in?
2nd house/Libra

2. What harsh aspects is it making?
A sesisquadrate with Mercury, a semi-square to uranus, and a very wide conjunction with Pluto. To be honest I don't see these as major aspects and this planet is basically allowed to be as strong as it wants in that house because nothing is hampering it. When Saturn gives it gifts it does it big..when it restricts I can definitely feel it...which kind of sucks to be honest

3. What is saturn's influence making u afraid/insecure about?
I def hate the idea of losing my possessions..um..I have a fear of driving. I tend to keep things longer than I should including relationships. I can't think of anymore right now.

4. How are you working on your fears?
Honestly..this year I'm having some financial trouble and I've already accepted that I may lose a lot of my personal belongings behind if I have to move quickly. But I've come to terms with it and already have a plan of what I'll take. It's amazing how detached I am to it..I think I'm just ready to start fresh and in a new place. As long as I keep what's important the rest can and probably will be replaced. As far as driving..that's more of a confidence thing and I'm not there yet. As for relationships..blah I don't feel like dealing with that right now.

1. What house/sign is ur saturn in?
Scorpio, house 9.

2. What harsh aspects is it making?
Square my Sun, Moon and Venus ( all in Leo ).

3. What is saturn's influence making u afraid/insecure about?
The only thing I fear is the safety of my children and my nephew's and niece, as well as my family.

4. How are you working on your fears?
It has been a battle for me, but it's taken 30 years to get a handle on my mind and to be able to control it instead of the other way round.

You have to accept that the world is a big and dangerous place. Some things cannot be stopped, but I make sure I am there for my family whenever they need it. My whole family knows that I will drop everything for them if they are in trouble.

1. Saturn in the 7th house and in Capricorn.

2. Squares my Sun, Mercury, Venus, and semi-square my Pisces MC.

3. I never saw Saturn as fear-based but that makes sense. And seeing how it's in my 7th house it literally just dawned on me that could be why I am afraid of other people.

Venus square Saturn makes me afraid of relationships, but also hard work (same with Sun square Saturn, a self-defeating aspect). I love learning about the planet Saturn however. I find it fascinating.

Because my Sun, Mercury, and Venus square Saturn that even though it presents an obstacle it also grounds me too. My moon is trine Saturn so that probably helps. I'm more responsible and practical having cardinal placements in each sign rather than another element. I'm able to get more done....which is Saturn too!

These aspects don't play out in a one or the other but rather it's a battle of "when." When is the right time to limit myself, and when is the right time to go the extra mile.

They present themselves in every day situations like I just happen to be stuck behind "the slow driver" more often than others. I catch the red light more often than others. Other people are late on MY time whereas they may be on time with other people. So as much as they irritate me, my Saturn squares are teaching me patience as well.

Saturn in cancer in 12th, this squares my Jupiter and chiron in 9th exact & conjunct my ascendant. My fears/insecurities are losing my freedom ie hospitalized and myself or any family members having a terminal illness or disease.
I am ordinarily a positive person but recently when I discovered my son had a mass/lump, after an ultrasound, which can't determine the histology, I immediately went to Dr Google and discovered lots of things it could have been, most were sinister. He subsequently had surgery to remove it and it was benign.

Another example is last year I found a lump in my breast and immediately thought worst case scenario. After a biopsy it turned out nothing sinister.

Obviously most people would be worried if it had happened to them but for me it's a deep and irrational fear of illness and I worried myself sick at the time. I have an empty 6th house and saturn trines my sun (thankfully).

Saturn in 6th house!

major problems with co workers and minor health issues

I was always a healthy person, but I've developed issues due to the fact that I strongly assumed that I would never get sick.

Major problems with co-workers also because I tend to be constantly giving out advices...

Saturn in 5H. I wouldn't say I'm "afraid" but I do find it really difficult to express myself and let go. I can't have the fun i want to have in fear of losing control. I can't get THAT high when i smoke or else i get paranoid and think the worst things. I can't be TOO social or else I find myself getting uncomfortable around people. I can't get my hopes too high or else I'm always disappointed. The Saturn in my fifth house made a lot of blockages for me, in terms of creativity and having fun. My parents esp my dad seemed to be the one creating all these blockages. Sometimes when I'm down or at my worst I feel as if there is no way out.

ME:
1. Saturn in scorpio in the 1st house
2. Saturn sq my midheaven, and conjuncts both asc and pluto in libra.
3. I'm very shy when I first meet someone and I feel uncomfortable when I am in the spot light but I always seem to end up there.
4. I am currently trying to sort out my career, it's gone no where during my saturn return. I have a huge fear of failure.
