Hello,

I am talking to this guy who seems to have FEW oppositions/squares in his chart; and most of his natal aspects have wide orbs! - most are above 3 degrees. [b]What does/could this mean?[\b]

Unfortunately, I do not have his time of birth. However, I've experimented with changing the time of birth on his time and generally, the facts still remain.

P.s. If you don't believe me, see for yourself. Enter 04 October 1988 (+ any time on Astro) - birthplace: london. Doesn't it strike you as odd?

No. It's not odd.

I don't have too many aspects at all and most of them are also wide. If I bring the orb % down I don't have more than he does.

It is a little odd lol.
Because I can see that he has a few issues, but I can't place them on his natal chart because there appears to be SO many easy/wide aspects.
I guess it depends on where the planets fall in the houses (unsure of his TOB), but it's hard to understand him lol.

The first thing I noticed is that he lacks water and earth for the most part. His Neptune (Cap) and Pluto (Sco) are singletons. That could explain some of his issues.

Odette!
That makes sense so much sense to me.
I do get the feeling that he is a more fire than anything else. On the surface, he seems really sweet; but he is so quick to lose his temper and then attempts to make up in seconds. That's one of the main issues that I have with him. The inability to sense/perceive emotion - may be explained by the lack of water!
I'm going to look further into the 'singletons'

Well, I must be odd as well then! (Why yes I am!)

I have very few under 3 deg aspects. If I bring the % down so that only 3 deg and below are showing I have 3 sextiles, one opposition, one square, and one conjunction.

That then makes my Venus, Sun and Uranus all singletons.

Really, seriously, is that odd?

Lucie - Unaspected planets and singletons are not the same thing. Don't worry about it being odd. We all have things in our charts that stand out and have a stronger impact on our personality.

Yes. I realized that later.... I think my Saturn in 7H which is the "handle" of the bucket is a singleton as all the other planets in 11, 12, 1 & 2. Is that right?

I've never worried about being odd! LOL. But I've never thought it was odd to have not so many aspects under 3 degs because that is my chart.

Having written all that. Without having really looked at the fact that some aspects were under 3 while other were around 6-ish, it is true that the ones under 3 are the ones I feel more and thus the ones I've studied more. Except the opposition. I'm surprised that one is under 3.

I love this forum as everyone's topics make you look at things that you wouldn't think of. Now I'll go and look at how those planets might manifest if unaspected and see how that compares instead of having a "widish" aspects.
