Well, your guy I can see being a Taurus ASC. What's his DOB? Or can you post the chart, even if you use noon. It's easier to see where things are and how they relate that way.

If you don't have at least his birthdate then honestly, I wouldn't spend more time looking at this. So so much will change.

I'll ask him when I see him in a few weeks. He's been away and it's still very early days some haven't hung out a great deal. I'm onto it though

To be honest I think he wears the hat because his hairline is thinning. I actually have a more recent picture I could throw up..actually I think I will.

Okay, another way to try and figure out his ascendent would be to set up a chart on Astro.com (extended chart selection). Try adjusting the times and see if the planets in houses match his personality traits. {Ex: Venus in the first would be attractive and attracted to the arts, Saturn in the third might make him a man of few words, sun on the mid heaven might make him popular via his work.} I hope I explained this okay and that it helps.

I actually already do that all the time lol. Another reason why I agree with/ libra asc is because it puts his mc in cancer & he said he was a nanny for 10 yrs. I honestly can't see an aries ascendant having the patience for that lol but I appreciate you taking the time to help me investigate.

Based on what you described, and with him being soft spoken esp and his looks, I don't think he's an Aries ascendant. I mean being one myself and dating one guy for nearly 2 yrs and another for 8 months...Aries risings have a certain kind of presence. It's esp obvious in men.

Does he get read easily and is action oriented and doesn't beat around the bush? One guy I dated studied law, ws in a law firm for a year but ultimately got into management. There's a lot of leadership qualities in an Aries rising. He was really into sports, was a black belt and still keeps really active despite him being a general manager currently at a big medical company.

No definitely not straight forward at all. He's pretty passive. Like one time we were talking on the phone for a long time & instead of just saying he had to go because he was hungry, he'd just say he was hungry..he said it like twice before I told him we should get off of the phone so he can go eat. He seems quite shy too. But I must also mention he has mars in scorpio & I hear they can be passive too. But the one thing he wasn't too passive about was sexual stuff. But of course he'd only hint at it at first. A few times I ignored the hints in purpose & then I initiated the conversation after his hints & then the flood gates opened lol

There is nothing flamboyant about him at all. He doesn't even wear a watch never mind jewelry or tats. He does like to be "well dressed" in the traditional sense. His clothes are neat and tidy. Always clean and ironed.

He has a receding hairline which is probably the thing that bothers him the most about himself. He is a Leo after all! But he's certainly not the type to get all depressed about it or get implants and what not. He just gets on with life and is quietly confident.
