Topic: Has anybody here experienced Pluto transiting the 5th house?

Pluto will soon enter my 5th house, it has been in my 4th house for the last 17 years (feels like forever, lol). I don’t know what I should expect from this transit...
My 5th house is half in Capricorn and half in Aquarius (natal Pluto and Saturn are in the 2nd house, in Libra). I’m curious of what this transit might bring, especially in the area of relationships. If anybody went through it, in what way your love life changed during this transit? Sharing your experiences and thoughts would be very appreciated.

I've had it. There is 2-3 degrees more and pluto will leave it for good. I expirience 2 loves - one with my husband, second - the big one, unfulfilled so far. I had a daughter when tr. pluto was in separating conjunction to my 5th house moon. I hope I would have another child before it leaves 5th house but probably I won't. IP: Logged |

I'm still going through mine, but I need to check dates to give you appropriate answers. However, I think both of my children were born during this transit.Edit: Nope, only baby #2 was conceived and born under this transit. I am on year 11 with 5 more yeas to go. It is such a long-standing influence that it's difficult to pick what was attributed to this transit over other transits. ------------------

Thanks a lot for your comments. Pluto in 4th house brought me frequent changes of residence, a lot of instability and some disappointment in love.
My love life now is pretty dead and I hope Pluto in 5th won’t kill it for good...From what I read it has a transformative effect on areas of life ruled by a given house, but it does not mean the effect will be positive, just transformative.

The relationship I was in ended. Uranus was also on the cusp of the 7H.There was a long spell of not being in a relationship. Pluto transiting the 5H also brought the most profound love I've ever experienced, deeper than romantic love. Since it sounds like you haven't been in relationship for awhile, the Pluto transit to the 5H could bring in a new relationship that is intense, deep, erotic, healing, obsessive, consuming, involve drama and turmoil or a sexual triangle, in any combination or all of the above. The person could have Scorpio rising or Pluto in the 1H. IP: Logged |

I'm going through this right now(just literally started) and it is exact conjunct my Neptune at 14* Capricorn. Pluto in my fourth ended my abusive marriage, moved me around the world and back, and brought out a lot of family secrets that strengthened my relationships with some family, but destroyed others. I grew up under that transit, and with Saturn about 10 months away from transiting my 4th, I feel as though its going to happen all over again.  IP: Logged |

It's close to entering my 6H, so it's been in my 5H for a while, I guess.My Vertex is also in my 5H. While it passed my Vertex, I met my husband, ended a long-term relationship with a complete d0chebag, and my concept of what a relationship should look like underwent a massive (very positive) transformation. It was also squaring my Venus while it was conjunct my Vertex, so hopefully it goes without saying that the crap relationship ended prior to me meeting my husband. Since it's been in my 5H I got married to someone I have an undeniably deep spiritual connection with. Prior to that, marriage was something that I basically had zero interest in. My husband and I had our son a few years later, while Pluto was still in my 5H. Not saying that's going to happen to everyone (obviously), but those are my highlights.  Looking at you, Cappy.

Thank you all. So Pluto here seems to bring some transformation regarding love and most of the time it’s a positive one. Of course everything depends on other transits to personal planets but I noticed that transits of outer planets through houses do provide the general background or the scenery of the situation.ReeseC, it seems that we have similar experiences. Saturn will also enter my 4th house at the end of this year. Do you also have tr Neptune close to enter your 7th house?
I thought that Pluto in the 5th and Neptune in the 7th could confirm that something is in store concerning love issues although it might be pretty tricky…I am afraid of the scenario where Pluto brings a very strong passion/obsession and with Neptune everything looks great but things are NOT what they seem….This combination might also attract Plutonian-Neptunian kind of people :/
I really hope Saturn transiting the 4th and afterwards the 5th house would counterbalance this potential scenario... Saturn transits always made me more reasonable and down-to-earth, and should potentially mitigate these influences, especially Neptune in the 7th. IP: Logged |

Gemmi, we might have similar placements because my DSC is at 12* Pisces, and I have tMars at 4* Pisces and tNeptune at 5* Pisces in 6th house, and tChiron at 13* Pisces. Both will enter my 7th soon though, so like you, I'm afraid of being fooled by illusions. IP: Logged |

I am having this transit. The Pluto is transitting my 5th house and conjunct my Vertex about in Capricorn. I do have some profound relationships, but all don't work out well(beautiful at first, ended with disappointment and/or feeling trapped, but cannot get out), I blame on Neptune transitting my 7th Pisces house and opposite my Sun/Venus/DSC. Mollywu, sorry to hear that you are going through a difficult time in relationships.
Neptune in the 7th opposite your 1st house Sun, Venus, and ASC seems indeed very challenging. Jupiter will soon enter Virgo and it will conjunct these placements. I hope Jupiter will bring you a lot of positive things.
Do you remember if your composite chart/synastry with the love interest confirmed this difficult situation, e.g did you have hard aspects of Pluto or Neptune?
Many years ago I had Uranus going through my 7th house Pisces. When Uranus was conjunct my DSC I meet a guy who was very Uranian/ Neptunian. He was an artist, btw, and I found him a bit eccentric/a dreamer. The guy turned out to be completely detached from reality and very unreliable. Our composite had many hard aspects of Neptune and Uranus as well (e.g. Neptune square Sun, Uranus square Venus/Moon). Both composite and ongoing transits predicted there would be problems. I am wondering that if the composite has for example strong Saturn the problems can be maybe avoided, but if there are hard Pluto/Neptune aspects in the composite plus there are ongoing transits from these planets then it is probably better to run away asap...

In 2 years tPluto will be conjunct my Sun. I may start some artistic project(s) at that time The plan is already there. I don't care to be famous but I hope my creations would be liked and rather popular. Keep your fingers crossed. Soon tPluto will be exactly conjunct my DSC ruler at the gates of the 5th house. I wonder how it'll affect me if it will at all. It won't bring me romance for sure.

Hi Gemmi, thanks for your concern, I hope my love life can turn a little better in the following years, but who knows, I am not good at looking at progression/transits. Yes, I had two romances with the two guys during the transit. Both are from long distance, different countries.I donĄ¯t know how it will work at last, but there must be some karmas for me to solve with the two guys. Both two have Cancer, Taurus and Gemini placements. In my natal charts, Gemini and Sagittarius are intercepted in my 10th/4th house. Guy 1 is the one who I feel most connected and very special to me. In Synastry, the biggest problem is from his Sun and Saturn square/suincunx my personal plates. Neptune and Uranus are not bad, most of are in trine or sexile. But his Pluto conjunct my personal plates, so lots of emotional struggles. The composite looks good too, but Saturn isnĄ¯t very strong(too wide). Mollywu, I looked at your composite charts aspects and they seem pretty good (esp. the 1st chart), Saturn trine Sun in both has a huge staying power. Also, good Pluto aspects in the first one. These charts aspects don’t seem to show the problems you are experiencing, but as you mentioned the synastry is less favourable.
As Peony wrote above, tr Pluto in the 5th might bring intense, obsessive relationships involving drama and turmoil, passion, love triangle etc. Plus tr Neptune in the 7th, opposing planets in the 1st, makes the situation unclear/unstable.If you have your Sun and Venus in the 1st then Pluto in the 5th was/is/will be trine these planets at some point and it should bring very empowering experiences. I have myself Sun in the 1st house Virgo and next year Pluto will trine it from the 5th house, so very curious what will happen... IP: Logged |

Yes, it seems from Saturn part, composite with Guy 2 seems more stable, but moon is ASC ruler, Saturn is DSC ruler, it is squared, so not really good. I don't know why I don't trust Guy 2. In synastry my Moon is conjunct his Scorpio DSC and Juno.His has Nepture in 7th house natally. His Uranus conjunct my Sun/Venus... He seems quite romantic online but when I met him in person, he seems more mature and more practical.... After that meeting, I felt his disappointment, I asked him why, he didn't tell me.... I feel he has hidden something behind me, which I hate it. But he kept denying..... When he appeared suddenly and said he missed me a lot, I don't have much special feeling for him now. With Guy 1, the romance is never better than this one. In synastry, his Venus conjunct my Mars, my Venus trine his Mars. My moon trine his Moon..We can communicate very well, Mercury sexile Mercury... He is the one who understands me most. We could feel each other... I never trust any men so well except him....... He said he let me go because he thinks it is best for me and I deserve happiness.... I understand him...In Composite, we had beautiful triangels, only one square and three opposites.Because I don't know his TOB, so I don't know his ASC, so cannot tell the composite is really so good as it seems... However, even the greatest composite and synastry cannot guarantee the two come together.... I really have no idea about what will happen in my life, I am kind of worried because transitting Uranus is in my 8th house,squaring my natal Mars, Pluto.... Yes, life is unpredicatable, maybe different people will experience different things..Thanks for being so kind to read my words and give some advices.

Already in my 5th house and was squared my Sun... that was a VERY trying time, with tr. Uranus conjunct my Sun also in 8th. I'm not satisfied with the expression of my art any more. Trying to drag the skeleton out of my soul right now. Bizarre concepts coming to surface, I feel like I'm barely on my toes right now. I'm more curious to see what it will do to my gen with Neptune and Uranus in Capricorn when it reaches it's later degree. IP: Logged |
