Those of you with Pisces Midheaven, have you found a fulfilling career? What do you do?

I have this midheaven and it's a never ending struggle to figure out a career path. I'll find something that interests me, will be eager to pursue it, then become disillusioned at the reality of the job. I'm starting to realize that no matter what, work is going to be work, but I have a need to feel fulfilled in what I do.

I keep coming back to wanting to help/heal people/animals although I love the arts as well.

What has been helpful for any one of you?

I have Pisces MC. I'm only in high school, but I have been struggling to choose a career path ever since I was a kid. I wanna become almost everything: fashion designer, actress, model, singer, motorcross racer, hairdresser, architect, artist, photographer, astronomer, chemist, biologist, astronaut, interior designer... the list goes on.

The one thing I have always wanted to be though, is a singer. It was my first dream job as a child. But since that career path seems too tricky for me, I'm trying to go the safe route with becoming a lawyer. I do love debates and I'm very good with it.

I have been switching back and forth with these two career paths because I wanna have a stable financial life in the future, but at the same time, I wanna pursue my dreams. It's a real struggle.

I also have Venus opposite MC which could add to the indecision I feel.

What I do know though is that Pisces MC can become anything, as Alyssa Sharpe said in her video about it. It's because Pisces is the oldest sign and it has been through almost everything all the other zodiac signs are going through. This is also due to having Gemini Asc, which is known for having a variety of interests. I feel that whichever career path a Pisces MC would take, they would succeed as long as they are determined.

Wow! Solar_Leo_Queen! You are not your average high schooler...but maybe high shoolers get a bad wrap because neither is my son. He is insightful, intelligent and mature, just like you.

I have pisces MC and pisces moon in 10th house

I also love the arts and being creative I would say I have found my suitable career path yes I think pisces MC does good in whatever creative job they want to go for... but the big problem is probably only the lack of self-confidence and motivation... but don't fear being creative, this IS what we are good at So if you want to be an actor, singer whatever...go for it! Don't be afraid

venus2tinkerbell - Yes, I've seen this video before. Definitely relate to the Virgo IC part. I loved reading as a child. I'd even read the nutrition labels on food packages just to soak up information.

As of right now, yes, I'm a huge dreamer (and perhaps too idealistic) and hugely empathetic. Has your son expressed interest in any career/jobs in particular?

Solar_Leo_Queen - Yes, sounds like me. I've never had just one single thing that I've wanted to do since I was a child. It's changed from writer to nurse to artist to fashion design to psychologist, etc.

Perhaps you could try to pursue both. Maintain/strengthen your voice and singing ability while you study law. Join clubs/a group, post on YouTube, etc. I don't think you should give up on your dream, but I very much understand the need to have stable finances (although, in reality, nothing's guaranteed forever.)

I'm not certain I'm going to pursue art professionally but that certainly isn't going to stop me from doing it in my spare time.

The unfortunate thing about Pisces is, it always feels like you're being pulled in two different directions.

next to neptune - I'm glad you've found something that works for you. That's a beautiful combination.

I agree, lack of self confidence and certainly motivation can be troubling. Saturn is conjunct Neptune in my chart and I still have trouble with forcing myself to draw/paint/etc everyday, especially when the image in my head will hardly ever match reality.

OMG I feel you. That's me too. I'm that one person who reads everything I come across when waiting in a line. I read signs and even "safety" tips posted on walls just to keep my mind occupied when I'm waiting for something. It's a natural habit and sometimes, I feel like I would laugh at myself if I saw myself reading the things written on a cereal box so seriously.

I am trying to pursue both my goals for now and I am hoping not to change my mind in the future. I am in my last year in high school and this is the moment I've been thinking of since grade nine. I am feeling overwhelmed and anxious because of the choices I have to make. I do pray that everything works out in the end.

You could do the same thing, too, with whichever path you choose.

Is your son around the same age as me? I'm 17. That sounds awesome. I agree that not a lot of people my age are insightful. In what ways have you seen his MC play out?

I have a Pisces MC as well, and I am highly Neptunian. I've always struggled with deciding on a career path too, and still am. That part of my life has always been foggy and unclear. I am interested in many different things so it's hard for me to pin down what I think I'd enjoy doing best.

Most of my interests involve metaphysics, philosophy, and the occult. I am also very much into music. I've always had the want to make a difference in the world, especially on a spiritual and mental level. I want to be able to bring more love, light, and peace to my community/environment and the people around me. I want to feel useful.

I definitely relate to the feeling of wanting to feel fulfilled when it comes to career/work. I feel like I would not truly be able to enjoy something/give it my all if it did not fulfill me on a soul level. Otherwise, it feels like it's a waste of my time. Why would I want to do something long-term if I don't receive any personal satisfaction or happiness? I have to feel connected with my work, I have to be inspired and eager to get up everyday knowing that I actually enjoy what I do. I want to live it and breathe it.

Some people view that as being unrealistic, especially if you aren't really money or status oriented, which I've never much been. I simply view it as being a sort of 'truth', and a normalcy that I think most people actually recognize and want deep down, but feel they are living in a world that doesn't allow them to have that, because we are a culture that is so focused on status and making moolah. It doesn't seem to leave much room for the creative ache in your soul.

This is an interesting thread. I have a Pisces MC and I'm highly neptunian as well. I'm 36 years old. My entire life I've always been confused about what I wanted to do. I was constantly pulled in different directions and torn between what I'd love to do "if money were no object" and what I am expected to do "practicality." I've loved music, dance and the arts my entire life and always dreamed of performing. However, for 20 years I have suppressed those dreams and went into the hampster wheel daily job in corporate America. I was miserable. I wasn't inspired, and it felt completely unfulfilling in every sense. What's interesting is that since my early adulthood, I have suffered from depression. After much soul searching and spiritual guidance over the last 3 years, I have finally come to the point where I'm going to follow my dreams to become a performer....because that's what will make me happy and people entertained and happy. I want to give love, happiness and energy to the world through music.....and it only took me 20 years to finally figure that out. Thank you Pisces MC!

Solar_Leo_Queen - Haha, yes, I definitely have to keep my mind occupied. My Gemini moon doesn't help either.

Don't feel too anxious! I changed my mind about my major in college and again, I'm questioning myself. I say, just do what feels right for you right now. No one knows what the future is going to hold. Good luck with everything and thanks, I hope to do the same!

yellowelevator - Being interested in many things seems to be a trademark of Pisces MC. I don't think we want to be tied down to just one thing because if that doesn't amount to what our fantasies were, we want to be able to pursue that which does. Of course, it's extremely hard to find something like that since the world isn't perfect.

Absolutely with you on having to be inspired and eager to get up everyday! If I don't feel like I'm making a noticeable difference, I start to feel useless, like "what's the point?" I think there's many ways to do that, it's just finding the one that speaks to you that's hard.

I hope you find something that makes your heart sing.

tgem - Wow! That's very inspiring. Good for you for following your dreams.

Definitely seeing a trend of music/art, performing, wanting to give love to the world, needing to be fulfilled, and being confused about a career path.

My mom has this. She has Pisces Mars Conjunct Pisces MC too. She's a nurse. She claims she always knew she wanted to be a nurse. No confusion as far as career is concerned for her.

I have my MC on the cusp of Aqua/Pis.And I share the sentiment of wanting work to be "meaningful" etc.

But I think its the 6th house that is the proverbial "bread and butter"; the everyday "grind"-so to speak. So look at whatever planets occupy the 6th house.

I have 6th house cusp in Libra with Saturn in Scorpio there. The way I pay the bills is through doing administsrative, repetitive and mundane work really.

But I also have Venus (ruler of the 6th)in Scorpio conjunct Saturn in 6th house. So I am very committed to whatever job I do and try to make the most of it.That is my peace.

I think the trick to the MC in Pisces is learning to find "purpose" with whatever it is that you do.Being happy that you are contributing to the whole etc.

Defining what that "contribution" entails exactly may involve taking on a number of jobs before finding one's niche. That is Jupiter/Neptune(ruler of Pisces) at play really.

I have this MC. Plus Saturn conjunct MC from the 9th.

I'm currently in my second year of college/university and I'm majoring in Elementary Education .

I wouldn't exactly say that I've had trouble figuring out what I wanted to do in life though. For me, it was always between business and something in "service". I took a lot of business classes in high school and did my 1st year as an accounting major but I quickly realized by the end that working in an office/cubicle and not making a life helping others is NOT for me.

Now I plan on being a teacher and I feel like this is the best major for me since I've always worked with and helped kids since I was 11 *on a side note I even have Child asteroid in my 10th house lol. I plan on teaching abroad and also volunteering in rural areas in different countries if I can (which is my biggest dream).

Ultimately, I just want to teach, travel, and volunteer (Pisces also co-rules Jupiter). I'm over aspiring to have a "fancy" house/car and expensive clothes like most of society "expects" you to strive for. If I can just travel the world and at least inspire one person (hopefully more) than that's all I want in life (plus having a family and stuff down the line lol).

Sometimes I wonder if my dreams/ambitions are too "dreamy" though.
