My mom has Saturn Rx.The limitation comes from within rather outside. ------------------ "If a man does not work passionately - even furiously - at being the best in the world at what he does, he fails his talent, his destiny, and his God." IP: Logged |

"I have this in my chart, and I can say that most of this is true. and unfortunately it seems even harder trying to work with it due to the fact that it's opposite my mars & SN :/"I've Mars(Leo) square Saturn(Scorpio)<<< The semi-square in synastry with my mom. You're life purpose is to gain more discipline and become less impulsive. The great thing those limitations are self imposed. What house is your NN/Mars/Saturn in? IP: Logged |

In my case, My Mother would criticize every single thing I ever did. So I became very Mars didn't care about anything before I did it. My temper only comes out when someone hurts my ego(Leo) or criticize what I do(Mars). ------------------ "If a man does not work passionately - even furiously - at being the best in the world at what he does, he fails his talent, his destiny, and his God." I have this to, structure is so hard for me but I want it so bad! I do really good for awhile but I have to exert all my effort and it takes CONSTANT thought and attention. Eventually it wears me out and I just want to give up. It's just so overwhelming, but I am a single mom with 3 kids, 2 with disabilities, that could be a part of the problem I have a bit more to keep up with than a person can do alone. My mom nitpicked me to death She made me feel I was never good enough...so it's been hard finding the courage to believe in myself. I guess I need to think about that more. I need to let myself feel HER acting like I was not good enough and couldn't do anything right was HER issue not mine! I had not really thought about that before, thanks! IP: Logged |

Myself. It's in my 4th which doesn't aid in it at all. Saturn is pretty aspected in my chart so there was absolutely no running from it. A lot of what you said was very true for me. I was THE poster child of self sabotaging. I never felt worthy enough for anyone, not even myself. Unfortunately my father was absent. He tried to start a relationship with me years ago but it was already too late. I had quite a traumatic childhood to say the least. Lots of hurting. I already feel as if I've said too much, so that's about as deep as I'll go. I've a 12th house stellium after all. Positivity comes with maturity, growing and finding yourself. Letting crap go and moving on is what saved me. I literally got rid of every poisonous friendship/relationship I had, family included. Became a lot more in control of myself. I don't dwell on anything that fails to bring me happiness. I try to see the good in every situation. I have zero regrets in life. I wear all of my fails like a coat of honor because without them I wouldn't be the person I am today. I don't live my life from the validating of others, I live for me. I'm happier than I've ever been. Fortunately I've always been a happy person despite all of the crap I've been through, now the happiness is real in its truest form. I take life as it comes. Fortunately Saturn is a very real planet, it takes no **** . It sees things and people, life, for what they are, no sugar coating. That I am thankful for. Of course this is my own personal experience. It may or may not work for you. Just know that it does get easier as you continue to grow. Live your life for you, not other people. IP: Logged |

I have 12H Saturn Rx at 0 Leo in mutual reception with my sun.Saturn semisquare Mars Rx. I am not the world's most consistent and effective person by a long shot, but other chart placements help me get a lot of stuff done, sporadically. I've come to peace with the fact that I cannot keep up with the relentless pace of modern society. That is not "my calling." So I try to capitalize on my strengths and appreciate myself for them, because god knows I am aware of my failures and weaknesses! I actually had a conversation with a therapist friend of mine, and she pointed out that I don't really own up to my talents. No matter what I've accomplished, it always shrinks to nothing in my mind. Once in a while I can reflect on my achievements and I'll be amazed that the actual picture of what I've done is so at odds with my self-perception. So to answer the questions: *I am self-confident in some respects, not others. Definitely a victim of self-sabotage. *My father was a great person and we had a loving relationship, but he was much older than me, more like a grandfather. There was a key time in my life when I definitely would have benefitted from having parents, but my mother had already died and my father was distant, struggling with his health, and simply not there for me. And he died when I was relatively young. *Do I think anything positive can come of this placement? Definitely. Humility can be transformative and a springboard to better things. If your ego is already small, it may be easier to lay your ego aside altogether, and strive for spiritual goals. Like Gabby, above. I've seen her drop everything and help people on this forum, with excellent advice, time and time again. She guides people through their troubles. That is not worth nothing. That helps other people get a grip on their lives when they need support. Just because this is an online experience doesn't mean it has no value...it can be a philanthropy if you make it one. So that is one example of Saturn Retrograde playing a key role in society. IP: Logged |

It's great to hear that ur up & going. also staying positive despite all that u mentioned! it gives encouragement Well tbh, I can say that I have this positive attitude towards life to a certain degree. Might be my Sag moon that helps there, but it doesn't seem to last for too long unfortunately Do u find it easier to deal with this with the stellium in ur 12th? releasing unconscious fears maybe

It seems like u are courageous enough from what I see here! And I do believe that mr.Saturn rx does reach to a point in which he will see all this hard work & be positively rewarding!

Well thank you. Happy to hear that it is encouraging for you. I also have many, many aspects that encourage positivity and optimism. My chart is one huge contradiction lol. I feel the 12th stellium definitely helps. The 12th is also a very tough one to conquer but once you have it flourishes beautifully. Sag moon is good. I see where you might conclude that as being a source of having a positive attitude, that's great. How's your Jupiter? Do you have any positive Moon aspects? IP: Logged |

My ex partner had Saturn in her 12th, with close conjucting pluto. It is as if I can strongly feel the vibes of what u are describing
Exactly how I have been feeling these past couple of months. -The need to help/heal myself so that I may be able to help others in a better way, without feeling drained and holding on to others problems as if they were mine, and not doing anything about mine
The need to analyze myself also, with sth that I only rarely do as a hobby, and that is astrology. And I was lucky enough to run upon this forum & it has felt like a life saver! Helping me understand in a more deep level so many things. What I have been avoiding and also what may need restructuring Thank u! Thank u all actually!

Your life sounds very similar to mine, pain, pain and more pain but in the end the growth is worth the effort. If you make it out alive you make it out stronger and happier than a lot of ppl that didn't have half as much to deal with. That's one positive I wouldn't trade for the world! My leo Saturn is in my 10th trine my saggy Sun/Mercury in 2nd but on the cusp of 3rd, they are conjunct my 3rd house Neptune.
I guess my career should be focused around what I've learned. It seems our responsibility is to heal and to learn through our healing. IP: Logged |
