Interesting. I had tUranus (transiting my 5th house) trining my sun exact when I conceived. Jupiter was loosely conjunct my sun and retrograding over my MC. Uranus has been in my fifth for years though to it must be another factor as well since it's probably trined a number of times.

When I got pregnant NN was on it way out of my fifth house, and the moon was in square with my fifth house ruler, and Jupiter was quincunx it. When I had her saturn (reality and things becoming concrete) had just entered my fifth house, so I guess that could mean pregnancy too. Incidentally it was also my personal six year.

I had tJupiter in 5H when I had a miscarriage (pregnancy) conj my Moon. I have read a lot about people mentioning Pluto here and there but can't recall houses or aspects.

Oh interesting. As far as NN goes, NN was conjunct his Saturn exact.

What's a personal 6 year?

It's numerology, which I'm just starting to learn about. Look up personal years on google it's pretty interesting. During a personal six year a lot of women get pregnant because it's more family focused.

I'm sorry to hear about that Charlie.

Yeah I have seen some pretty general things online about what could cause it. My pregnancy is still very new and happened against some odds (although obviously we could have been more careful) I was wondering if tVenus and tPluto being conjunct could have affected anything.

Oh thanks. I'm in year 2 and was in 1 when I conceived assuming it goes in that sequence. He would have been in 6 when we conceived

Does Mars rule your 5H?

If so, I would look at transits to your Mars, along with Mars transits.

My progressed Moon was 6 degrees away from my natal Saturn when I conceived. When she was born it was conjunct progressed Saturn. Saturn is the ruler of natal 5th. It was a difficult birth.

T. Saturn was in Cancer but 5 degrees past my Sun which is the midpoint of Sun/Mars.

Transit Uranus was conjunct NN.

And.... T. Jupiter was going back and forth over my natal Ascendant! Jupiter growing in size (Asc. = body) Jupiter ruler of natal 4th.

Oh and progressed Venus was conjunct natal Ascendant. Venus ruler of natal 9th and 2nd (she is a Sag).

T. Pluto square Pluto

T. Neptune conjunct Moon 3 degrees past and trine Mercury (chart ruler) and MC. Neptune = ruler of 7th.

I think progressions and solar arc are more indicative of pregnancy, especially the MOON for women.

My mother/child #1 - pMOON moving into n5H
My mother/child #2 - pMOON conj saVX in n5H, pMOON in p5H
My mother/child #3 - pMOON conj nMOON in n8H, pMOON opp p5R
My mother/child #4 - pMOON conj nMC, pSUN opp sa5R
Sibling 1/child #1 - pMOON conj nMOON, sa5R conj nSUN
Sibling 1/child #2 - pMOON conj n5R, p5R opp n5R
Sibling 1/child #3 - pMOON conj nAVX
Sibling 2/child #1 - pMOON conj pAVX
Sibling 2/child #2 - pMOON conj nMOON, p5R conj nSUN
Friend/child #1 - pMOON conj saMOON in p5H, MOON is also n5R
Friend/child #2 - p5R conj pMC

Just at a glance.

Well, lucky (or unlucky for me? lol) I knew the exact day my kids were conceived because my sexual relations were so infrequent. My son was conceived on his father's birthday and my daughter was conceived on her brother's birthday.

Transits with my oldest (my son, planned and it took almost a year):

tMars conjunct (near exact) my natal Sun
tSun conjunct to my natal Mars
tPluto conjunct to my natal Moon
tChiron conjuct to natal Neptune
tMoon conjunct natal Chiron
no activity in my 5th (natally or by transit)
retrograde tUranus and tNeptune in my sixth house
retrograde tJupiter and tSaturn in my tenth house

I have no idea if those retrograde planets have anything to do with it, but there were 4 biggies gone retrograde at the time. ???

Transits with my youngest (my daughter, planned, it took about 4 months of trying):

tJupiter conjunct my natal Ascendant
tMoon and retrograde tChiron in my fifth house
tMars square natal Moon
retrograde tNeptune was still in my sixth house
retrograde tUranus & tMars were in my seventh house
This time, transiting Uranus, Neptune, Pluto & Chiron were all retrograde

I had a miscarriage before both of my kids (totally unplanned and I was on birth control pills), but I cannot remember the exact conception date because I didn't even know I was pregnant until I was approx. 9 weeks and the fetus died at approx. 11 weeks (all based on ultrasound measurements, as I didn't have normal periods).

However, I do remember the night I actually expelled (for lack of a better word) because it was my 21st birthday.

tSun conjunct natal Sun (obviously, my birthday)
tMercury conjunct natal Sun (exact)
tMoon conjunct natal Saturn (near exact, less than 1 degree orb)
tPluto conjunct natal Moon (near exact, less than 1 degree orb)
tMars conjunct natal Moon
retrograde tSaturn conjunct MC
retrograde tJupiter conjunct natal Chiron
no activity in my 5th (natally or by transit)
retrograde tUranus and tNeptune in my sixth house
This time, transiting Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus & Neptune were all retrograde

Edit: Both kids were conceived within 1-2 days of the full moon.

This happened during the conception of my daughter (child #2). It's also happening again right now.

I find all of this fascinating. I have a question though.

Would one look at a composite and the transits to the composite for fertility aspects?

I pretty much knew when I conceived with both my children as I was charting my periods and did ovulation testing for my first conceived. There were other transits occurring but these are the ones I thought may be relevant and these are all very close orbs (I didn't pay much attention to transits at the time ).

Child #1-
T uranus conjunct sun
T pluto in 5th
T sun, chiron and neptune conjunct n Venus
Packed 7th house with t sun, chiron, neptune, Jupiter, mars and nn.

Child #2-
T sun on ic
T sun conjunct uranus
T sun conjunct nn
T saturn conjunct n pluto in 2nd
Pluto, nn and moon in 5th, nearing the end.

@Geeky ^, that is interesting. I wonder if a composite chart would show any problems with conceiving, if a couple had difficulty in doing so, or would it be more in the individual chart. Saturn in 5th in composite possibly indicating hardships with falling pregnant? Jupiter in composite 5th house possibly indicating twins? I'm not that clued up with deciphering composite charts as yet ☺

I think yes, but I am not that experienced with composites either.

Did you conceive near the full moon (January 4)? I conceived both of my kids within 1-2 days of the full moon energy.
