Sorry if it is bad etiquette for a post like this.Vajra!
I just wanted to thank you. I have finished up Karma-Yoga on this incredibly snowy New York day.
It is an incredibly resounding book for me. Your recommendation was a surprising culmination to the questions my Pluto in the 9th house transit set forth.
Ever since Pluto began working on my 9th I've been exploring my character and philosophy through so many methods. Astrology, Numerology, I Ching, ZWDS, Enneagram, Tarot.. Joseph Campbell.. anyway, you get it. Lots of reading and self reflection for Koho in this period.
These are all great systems and in my opinion work. They've enlightened me to myself, to my character flaws, and the various potentials of my energy. They all told the same narrative with differing focus and nuances. But in the end this was only awareness. Awareness alone isn't a guiding light. As I read Karma-Yoga I felt as the other part of the puzzle was being fulfilled. Not only do I have an awareness of myself but I have a clear set of guidelines to aspire to. It was what I was looking for without being quite sure what I was looking for.
And this is good timing. Pluto and Saturn are heading toward the top of my chart, and Uranus is passing through my 12th. There is no better period where I'll need these things than the next phase of my chart (or cycle/challenge, pinnacles for the Numerologists out there).
So I'll put it in one more way before I end this post -
"Six in the fourth place means:
The headboard of a young bull.
Great good fortune.
This line and the one following it are the two that tame the forward-pushing
lower lines. Before a bull's horns grow out, a headboard is fastened to its
forehead, so that later when the horns appear they cannot do harm. A good
way to restrain wild force is to forestall it. By so doing one achieves an easy
and great success."
You gave me the headboard I was seeking once I became aware of my need of it.
So again, thank you. I hope the message finds you well from the last time we exchanged. It will be a text I will read quite often.
