Topic: Does your mind always look for patterns or see life like it's a jigsaw puzzle?

I'm trying to figure out why my mind sees emotional problems in such a mathematical way....or in patterns. If it's a messed up pattern my mind starts to rearrange things and put my emotions back into an order that flows fluidly. I cannot stand my emotions being out of line with my beliefs and my thinking...I would think my mercury would have to be involved with this but I don't see anything that makes my mind work in this way. Is anyone else like this? I literally see a puzzle that I start to reposition and get things that are stuck unstuck by readjusting my thoughts to be inline with my needs, emotions and beliefs. But what aspects would create such an odd internal emotional/ mental life? I have a virgo moon but I've known other virgo moons who didn't understand what I was talking amount when I asked them if they thought in this same manner. Any help?

I think everybody does to some extent but few observe themselves doing it. Perhaps look for that? What is the house of the Sun and Merc to start.IP: Logged |

I think you mentioned once before about wondering if you had some third house sun/merc traits now that I recall :-)Is there any sun-moon aspect to go with it? IP: Logged |

No, my virgo moon in unaspected in 12th house.Yes tr. Saggy Saturn is moving onto my Sun/Merc right now. My leo Saturn trines my saggy Sun/Merc 0-1 degree, but I don't think that would explain why I see life in patterns instead of just living it. It's like it's being streamed at me instead of feeling like I'm a part of it, like I'm supposed to rearrange it somewhow and I don't particularly get emotionally involved in it until I'm in the process of rearranging it, I'll feel the emotions and cry at times as I intellectually work to correct that things that have gotten off...sometimes the emotions get very overwhelming but still I'm intellectualizing them at the same time. I'm sorry, this is hard to describe...I've never asked about this before because I didn't know how to put into words what was going on inside me.

I have Gemini MC along with 3H Libra, 5H Sag, and 4H Scorpio Jupiter...basically I was born with a chart to question everything and treat many subjects as pieces to a much larger puzzle which can confuse a lot of other people. But I don't do it to "restore unity." When my feelings, observations, thoughts, beliefs, needs, and the like aren't synched then I look to what and why and my very beliefs and needs may change as a result. They certainly have in the past (though such things aren't as mercurial as feelings, one reason I don't allow my feelings to rule me, and my feelings are happier for it in the long run). IP: Logged |

Do you have a Mercury/Uranus aspect? Or Mercury in the 11th? I always notice patterns and try to analyse everything that ever happens in my life. I put it down to having a mutable Mercury in aspect to Uranus (and possibly Gemini AC). IP: Logged |

Hmmm, I do have a lot of libra, AC, Pluto/Venus Gemini Mars and Psyche in 9th house My feelings don't rule me either, I need logic to put my feelings in order or else I'm stressed out. IP: Logged |

I can't say I have ever experienced that but I think it would be a wonderful gift. Am intrigued as to where asteroid Pallas (#2) sits in your chart? Among other things, Pallas is symbolized as the weaver of patterns, pattern recognition and ability to use patterns to arrange and rearrange things. Many famous astrologers have Pallas prominent in their charts- Linda Goodman, Stephen Arroyo, Lois Rodden, Liz Green, Alan Leo. Does seeing these pieces of a jig saw help when viewing charts at all? And is it experienced by anyone else in your family? IP: Logged |

By the way, if you think it may be significant, Google search Pallas Bob Marks Astrology. He has an interesting article on Pallas in the signs and houses ☺. (I can't attach a link from my phone).IP: Logged |

@Arachne 18 I agree with you.Do you have Pallas Athena in Aquarius or other air signs? I do this a lot and Pallas squares my natal Pluto and so,it can get pretty obsessive! IP: Logged |

Pisces Pallas conjunct Vesta is exact opposed my virgo Moon, trine my NN never thought about it but Moon opposed Pallas makes an exact T-square with my saggy DNA.... I feel patterns at first but then as they become more in focus and tangible it's like I can see them and want to touch them to rearrange them but I can't. All I can do is try to explain what I sense. It's so frustrating! Pisces Pallas is in 6th house, virgo Moon in 12th My brothers are very good with patterns, one builds custom programs for ppl and the other is an architectural designer.
