I'm afraid this question is too general. It's easier to give success indicators for a specific profession.

Neptune aspect(s) to the Sun, Moon, Mercury. Conjunct ASC or MC. At least 1 Saturn aspect for determination and staying grounded. Moon-Pluto or Mercury-Pluto and Jupiter/Sun conjunct MC also should help. Aren't you curious about placements too?

Neptune in the 1st/5th/10th
Jupiter in the 5th/10th/11th
Venus in the 5th
Saturn in the 5th/10th
Uranus in the 4th/6th
ASC ruler in the 5th/10th
5th house ruler in the 5th/10th

I think Pisces, Scorpio, Leo and Libra somewhere in personal placements would be helpful.

It's all my personal opinion, of course.

Midheaven 25°58' Capricorn

Midheaven Aspects
Jupiter trine Midheaven orb +6°27'
Sun sextile Midheaven orb +5°14'
Mars sextile Midheaven orb +5°27'
Pluto quintile Midheaven orb +1°07'

These are my MC aspects. Very generally I think they help me a lot. I distinctly feel the Jupiter help the most. Check for Jupiter aspects to your MC. When it comes to career and work I have always had people help me. All my bosses have liked me to the point of going out of their way for me. It's kind of like having a protective star over your MC.

I also have Venus in the 6th house. Having Venus in the house of daily work makes you pretty well liked at work and daily life. I've never had trouble getting along with coworkers. I also tend to have workplace romances pretty often that may and have sometimes helped my progress.

These are pretty general placements/aspects. Check to see if you have either of these and I think you have a general advantage.

I have also benefitted off of transits. A Venus trine ascendant transit has gotten me a long shot job offer because the two interviewers found me charming. I didn't time it consciously, I just got 'lucky'. Needed a job badly and it clinched it for me. If you're in the practice of planning out transits then I would keep an eye on this one.
