Perhaps what you mean is someone who is terrible at expressing love? Or someone who doesn't know how to express love appropriately?

For that,I would guess challenging aspects to Moon,Venus and Mars(including the conjunction aspect).

I had an astrologer tell me once that a man I was involved with years ago that "he is incapable of love" that he was a spawn of the devil.

I was curious as to what shows this in someone's natal chart?

I would ask my astrologer friend but sadly she passed away.

This is not in the category of diabolical, but Moon in Capricorn in hard aspect to Saturn or Uranus, or both, can cut off their feelings and can be cold and selfish.

Mars-Saturn-Pluto triple conjunction in hard aspect to Moon or Venus. If this was a man and I were a woman, I'd be very wary. The man could appear to be mild mannered and passive, but underneath there would likely be a boiling cauldron of murderous rage directed against women. Mars-Pluto is linked to the rapist. Doesn't mean they would act out, but these energies would be present.

Really? Those Saturn and Pluto aspects to Venus are formidable. This is Kali, the Hindu goddess of death and rebirth. Perhaps a more familiar image to people living in the West is the black widow. But your configuration may be different if Saturn and Pluto aren't in major aspect to each other as well, so I don't know if its quite the same. Bundy had a Saturn-Pluto conjunction square his Venus in Scorpio.

Phil Hartman, the actor, and his wife Brynn had these planets in hard aspect in synastry. She shot him to death as he slept and then killed herself.

Let me be clear. Saturn and Pluto being archetypes have a range of manifestations, both positive and negative. By mentioning these aspects, and these are the darkest, most formidable, being the heavyweights that they are, particularly in combination, I'm not saying that everyone who has them acts out or is a psychopath. The evolution of the soul is what determines how a person manifests the energies in their birth chart. And how evolved a soul is cannot be determined by the chart, although I know some people will disagree. Having said that, these energies are not easy to live with.

Yes, I'm sure it does. This is probably very presumptuous of me, so forgive me if I am. But, you must have come into this life with an intention to confront some pretty dark realities and overcome them. Only a strong person would do this.

"Spawn of the devil"? Geesh You should change astrologers.Or insist the astrologer be more objective and emotionally restrained in consultations.

Contrary to what people say, no-one is the "spawn of the devil": That is the sweeping term we use to say that someone is "hopeless".

And we usually use it in anger when we are reacting to their current or past actions and not concerned with looking deeper into motivations.

Yes,there are jerks out there who treat people really badly. But that is usually because they have been thus treated themselves or don't know how to be loving -as this was never demonstrated to them.

I am not making an excuse or saying that people should try to "save" them. I am just saying that their actions to hurt,abuse or withhold affection etc. have more to do with them than yourself.

You can't teach someone to love. You can only demonstrate through your own actions and hope they emulate. The key word here being "Hope": A very vague state of mind to be in.

There are however aspects that would make one have a hard time in expressing affection or being appropriate in the expression of love.

Afflictions to the Moon- One can be insecure or very closed off to feelings,defensive, prickly and hard to break through.

Afflictions to Venus and Mars can range to someone cheating on you,being inexpressive in sex,obsessive,abusive,too shy,unassertive ,conflicted,polygamous etc.

Also,I think that we should make clear as to what "love" is before saying that there some people who have a difficult time in expressing it.

The ones I refer to above mostly believe themselves "unlovable" in the sense of being unable to believe that they are appreciated "as is" .

When I was two or three years old I suddenly had a faint recollection of being bullied in school and having an operation done without anesthetic.

When I was 5 I had my teeth done without anesthetic and I was severely bullied in school as I grew up and someone tried killing me (an adult) when I was 8 or so.

I have a sense of deja vu in this lifetime.

I've got Pluto in the 4th, Saturn in the 7th and both Sun and Venus in the 10th.

I see. You've had experiences and seen things most of us can't even imagine, sounds like in your own family. Must be very hard to trust people or have a sense of belonging or being at home on the planet? May angels protect you always.

Whaaat, to go through this when you were only 5 and 8!

Thank you for reminding me to raise another point. These aspects in your chart don't describe you but the people you've encountered, and that's an important distinction that needs to be made.
