From 2012 to late 2014, my life was hell (job loss, exams failed repeatedly, heartbreaks, family matters, depression ...). I thought I couldn't sink any lower, well I did.I thought things were finally getting better when Saturn was about to exit my sign, Scorpio. I landed my dream job back in December ("saturn's gift?) and I was feeling really good. Now, Jupiter has gone retrograde as well as Mercury. I had to quit the job I landed because I was facing serious accomodation issues (the job is in a different country). I hadn't even started yet but I knew I wouldn't be able to find anything because I only got negative emails from landlords, couchsurfing ... I'm therefore back at square one. This was my only chance to leave my parents' toxic atmosphere and now my dream disappeared right before my eyes. I thought Jupiter return meant "good luck" and breakthroughs career wise. Why is this happening then? For those of you who have already experienced a Jupiter return, is it normal to experience darkness before the "dawn" maybe? I have Jupiter in Leo in the 2nd. I quit a job at this exact same time last year. It's a déjà-vu scenario repeating itself. IP: Logged |

I don't have any advice but I'm sorry you are having to go thru all of this again, it must be gut wrenching to finally get the job you want only to have to quit. But I guess looking on the bright side it looks like there is something the universe wants to make sure you learned before allowing you to move forward and perhaps maybe that particular position at the company wasn't best for you and something even better will come along. Maybe even something closer to home..unless you do want to work in another country than hopefully another opportunity for that will come along. IP: Logged |

Thank you very much Your post was very inspiring. It is indeed gut wrenching. I actually wanted to work abroad. I'm not interested in being close to home. Therefore, this opportunity was the best one I found because the job was great, could open graduate school doors for me and looks great on a resume. Last year, I worked in "fashion" and I dropped the job because I felt uncomfortable in that environment. This year, I went for a job that coincides with my degrees and I had to quit before I even started. I wonder what my true path is at this stage. Everyone around me seems to have everything figured out. I was so happy to move abroad, truly. It was a dream come true. IP: Logged |

Well you're not the only one struggling, I've been out of work for about two yrs now and every time I think something is about to come thru it's BLOCKED!! I'm thinking (well hoping) That when Jupiter leaves my 12th and enters my 1st things will pick up for me, but I had to use this time to really heal myself and deal with some issues I ignored while I was working. I'm also prepared for when Jupiter goes Rx in Virgo and possibly losing or having to do something over again. So you do want to work abroad..besides how great it would look on your resume is another part of the reason you want to leave have to do with your family? I noticed you said your home environment now is toxic. Perhaps the universe thinks you need to deal with that first before you leave..just a thought. But all is not lost, just take a deep breath and keep on pushing! IP: Logged |

I'm sorry to hear you're going through a period of turmoil career-wise. I really hope you will find something soon What field are you specialized in if you don't mind me asking? The job market isn't good and losing a job you had already been selected for is extremely painful. I'm so down to the point where I removed all of my social media accounts because I'm embarrassed of being at home, unemployed and penniless. The start of the year was so good, I thought this year was going to be my big breakthrough ... I guess not. I'll be looking in other fields, maybe those just aren't meant to be part of my destiny. Honestly I don't even have a field anymore lol The job I was let go from I was a biller for a dialysis company, but to be honest I don't want to go back to that. My passion has always been computers, so I've decided I'm going to go to school to get certifications (haven't decided if I'm going to go for the full degree yet) so I can get a job in the IT field. Who knows I may end up back in the medical field but on the IT side which would be perfectly fine with me. IP: Logged |
