I was age 14. Bought the book Sun Sign, Moon Sign - by Charles & Suzi Harvey. I still own the book to this day and will share it with people! Most people immediately find it fascinating. But even with the skeptics, once I read the goodies...they had to give in and admit that it was spot on! I love it. IP: Logged |

12. Friends at the time were interested in it too. But I didn't get seriously into it or see my full natal until about 20-21. I know a few people into astrology in real life but no one as seriously as myself nor do I know anyone in real life who looks up natal charts etcIP: Logged |

I've always had astrology books around when I was young since my mum was into it... including all of LG's books I can't remember the exact age, but I became more interested in my early teens. My female friends really liked that I was interested in astrology. I did all their charts and synastries and stuff. Guys.. well.. I got typical reactions you would expect from a guy lol But some were into it.. the openly new-age types. I don't normally try to change anyone's mind. They should believe what feels true to them and what works for them. I have a mutable Mercury so I just don't try to sway people much How 'bout you Leo-Cancer? Is someone in your life acting skeptical? IP: Logged |

I think I was called, but didn't answer at 13-14.My beloved best friend at the time, a dark and intense Scorpio girl 2 years older than I, had her artist father do our charts. She had a terrible mother who told her that unlike her, I would grow up to know who I am. My friend said she was jealous. A Scorpio admitting to something like that! It made me curious, but probably a week later I got interested in boys... IP: Logged |

I only tell my close confidantes. They don't judge me. They are intrigued. Their interest and excitement motivates me. Though my mother says astrology is making me rude

I heard of it when I was like 8-10 years old... my dad is an astrologer, so he often preached about it lol. It got my interest when I was around 16 again, and then again when I was 21-22. Now I am 25, so it is just within the last couple of years I really feel experienced... it was first when I was 16 that I saw my full chart the first time... I was around 21 when I first started to really dig into it. IP: Logged |

Probably between 19-21 (they were difficult university years and I used to come home to my brother to find comfort and understanding. I started exploring myself at age 23. I am 24 now - soon to be 25 (*sniff*)IP: Logged |

10! & no one knew.. It sort of grew as a private obsession. My parents knew of course, but that's it. My gradmother used to have linda goodman's love signs book at her house actually... I've always been surrounded by little 'signs' that directed me towards astrology. It's quite amazing now that I think about it. Astrology revealed itself to me at a very young age. I would learn more and more just by reading different things. "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" by Joanne Wolfolk or something like that was my very first major Astrology book. I started out with the daily-yearly horoscope books that had a different book for each sign & in the front of those books there was a table with the different times of birth and your moon sign. I remember getting really upset when i found out my moon was in libra because i wasn't a 'full-blooded' or true scorpio.. Haha boy was i wrong (pluto rules my 7th, scorpio desc, scorpio stellium, mars conj pluto, pluto opp asc, mars opp asc 7th house cusp) whewewwewe. IP: Logged |

Hmm, well my grandmother and mother are astrologers and I became fascinated with the topic around the age of 7 or 8. I then began memorizing planet and sign symbols and studying daily around the age of 13. Now I'm 18 and teach my nan and mom more about astrology. I've not ever been one to care too much about others' opinions on what makes me happy, haha. Matter of fact, the first question I usually asked people was, "when's your birthday?" Then I'd blow their minds from there on. IP: Logged |

I was 16! It wasn't TOO long ago to be honest heh. I had read about natal charts a few years prior, but didn't care enough lol. Then suddenly, the urge came really, REALLY strong to try again. And here I am now still confused as ever, but that's okay!No one around me is into astrology though. I'm an odd sheep sigh. I get so annoyed when my mom says "Well, I'm a Scorpio." to justify her deep emotions. My rising sign is Scorpio and I just wanna say, "Me too! I know where you're coming from!!" IP: Logged |

It might have started waaaaaaaaay back in toddlerhood/preschool. When I was very small, there was a children's TV Show on that I just loved call the Hilarious House Of Frightenstein. A gentleman by the name of Billy Van would dress up as a variety of characters. One was called The Oracle. The Oracle had a big poofy and floppy hat. He sat in his den with his crystal ball, which he kept knocking over a breaking. Behind him was a screen where the astrological signs would come up. He would describe a little bit about the sign that came up and would give a mini forecast. After he would talk about something new age. He would be encouraging about looking up to the stars. Here is a clip. http://youtu.be/vmuo1BIfdEE IP: Logged |

One day there was a clearout of a library in my primary school, I think I was about 13 then, I found a book written by our estimated national astrologer, 144 Sun/Moon combination and it completely drew me in. I was in love with the description of my combo, it was so lovely and bright and perfect, I really wanted to be that person Then I had it with me often in high school so my schoolmates could read their own combos. They were all cool with it, never teased me about it, they we're all curious what the magic book said about them. then one of them read my combo and said that it was nothing like me! I was soooo offended, never mentioned astrology in school ever since. been quite shy and quiet about it for the last few years that has changed and now I'm not afraid to ask strangers about their TOB IP: Logged |
