in natal, synastry AND composite. We know what Robert Hand/astro.com says for composite...
the more you hang on to it and try to make it non-Uranian in nature (trying to take away the open/freedom oriented aspect)... the more Uranian/unpredictable it will become. The question is... for those of us who have this aspect in our natal chart... is this the best kind of relationship for us?
Maybe it is for an aspect of ourselves. My Venus/Uranus might be ok with it in theory, telling herself that most relationships don't last and we need to learn what we are meant to learn with each situation or adventure that appears on our path. But my Libra sun square to my moon in Capricorn is deeply saddened by another lesson in "if you love someone set them free". My Saturn in the 5th house in Gemini seems to be telling me I have a lot of karma to work out... needing to give so much love to others who will not be standing beside me in mutual support as we age.
What are your thoughts on Venus conjunct Uranus?
I've read threads here from years ago (in the old Astrology forum) when people questioned Hand's theories. Did those relationships last?
I think the point is that they are worthy and lessons, and we are moving toward a more Uranian view of relationships in general. But what about the equally strong feelings of needing and wanting stability and lasting relationships? If we have the right Saturn connections does that create a middle ground or just make a never-ending connection with people who are never quite all there in your life, but never quite all the way gone either?
I know a lot of you have thought about this over the years. What are your conclusions?
