A lot of people use Astrology and Horoscopes as if they mean the same thing. From my understanding, Astrology is the study of the 12 signs of the zodiac and Horoscopes are those made up one-paragraph sayings. Are horoscopes actually accurate? Should I even read mine every day? IP: Logged |

It depends on your chart, really. Horoscopes are basically just interpretations of transits using only your Sun sign, and that's why they're usually discarded. But if your Sun or solar houses work particularly well for you, then yes, you can start looking at horoscopes -- but don't let them rule your life, you're just experimenting right now. You'll have to see, with time and experience, which horoscope works well for you, which astrologer interprets the transits best and which one suits your chart best. Perhaps this will also depend on, say, your progressed chart ? ... I had one daily horoscope work very well for me, until suddenly, around the time my progressed ASC changed sign, it started to fade away and I found another work even better. Same goes for long term (monthly...) horoscopes, but then those are generally more accurate than daily ones.... Or, you could prefer to work with transits on your whole chart. IP: Logged |

Cafeastrology has been the most accurate thus far. This explanation makes perfect since though. I have always tried different sites, but that is what actually got me to second guess its validity because there's so many different ones.

It is important to understand that 'horoscope' means view of the hour and specifies the chart used in astrology. The horoscope is a tool of astrology. Unfortunately the term has been misused. So, yes, lots of websites and print publications use the term 'horoscopes' which contain little if any astrological basis. Some are just total ******** .------------------ Professional astrology - Expert rectification http://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/ Rising Sign descriptions: https://kannonmcafee.wordpress.com/rising-signs-2/ IP: Logged |

The ones in the paper, no, they're not. They give astrology a bad name...to be taken with a grain of salt. Online, don't know. I don't read them. IP: Logged | |
