Hi!What do you think about scorpio ascendant? I am beginning to see a little Scorpio in my Taurus boyfriend with Scorpio ascendant. How does a Taurus handle scoprio ascendant?

scorp asc = intense! delving deep and always wnating to know what is behind stuff, hates small talk. there's more to it.. in terms of relationships how about a scorpio ascendant with a taurus ascendant? IP: Logged |

I think they are complimentary energies. I Sometimes feel overwhelmed by having a scorpio ascendant - it doesn't always feel I've got that deep as in I'm straightforward generally and try use scorpio to protect that which might not be the best use of it. But on the other hand, being in opposition, I don't feel authentically a taurus sun either, scorpio disapproves of it sometimes and wants to make it dig deeper. A bit like two different instruments playing the same tune, or two of the same instruments playing a different tune - can be discordant or some times work in harmony. If my taurus feels accepted, Scorpio comes out more in a less defensive manner. Maybe vv too. IP: Logged |

Yes, they seem to be complementary energies.
I have noticed that the Scorpio ascendant makes him like secrecy and testing more than normal for a Taurus man. I have two Taurus friends, so I have the possibility of comparing.
Florence, how does your scorpio ascendant come out? I have noticed that my bf is showing scorpio most when he feels insecure or just wants to get control. IP: Logged |

I don't think I test even though this comes up in regard to scorpio and asc. But I do notice my behaviour could seem like i do. Either I'm doing it and it's very unconsciously or it's because of the pull between the two signs. For instance, taurus is passive and easygoing. When Scorpio kicks in though I actually feel an urgency contrary to that - it's like my own sun makes my asc insecure because of how it is. So what seems like testing could just be this inner dialogue although it's probably as frustrating. Hard to say how Scorpio comes out .. It's like there's a darkness that is quite comforting as I consider taurus bland to others. sometimes I use it to protect myself and initially engage with the world but I prefer to save it for some reason. In itself the fact I try operate through my sun initially is Scorpio behaviour though. So on my terms and when secure it comes out as having a hint of some darkness, subtle curiosity in Scorpio themes. When insecure, it's a temporary wall and I'll be not as easy to engage with, analyse everything, see the darkness in others rather than willing to see it in me and as per above be more changeable. Taurus rebalances that some but also adds stubbornness. IP: Logged |
