Twice.
The first time was an Aries sun (that's my asc) and i married him.second person was a cancer sun with Sag rising (I'm sag sun). IP: Logged |

Is this said to be a possible significant indicator of anything? I don't know if I've ever heard this in synastry as being a 'thing', if you will, so I have no idea myself. But I am a Leo Sun and my SO is a Leo ASC. He is 5 years older than me. We're very much in love and he definitely feels like a soulmate, or whatever you want to name it as. There was a deep feeling of kinship and a 'meant to be' from the start. Though we do have other things in our composite/synastry to suggest why this is.Also for the record, my mother is a Leo ASC too and her and I have always been very close since I was a child. I know a guy who's saggy AC/Merc is exact conjunct my saggy Sun/Merc....he's 9 years older
I really like him but our spirituality views are wayyyy different to the point I feel made fun of by him because he very religious and I'm very open to exploring many different beliefs and accepting others points of view as good, if it's good for them. I don't need ppl to believe like me in order to be ok with them, I think he does.IP: Logged |

Primrose, the one I married was 2 yrs older, the other guy was 5 yrs younger.This is a very nice aspect to have in synastry. It's an aspect of attraction. IP: Logged |

Hmm, the reason why I ask is because the Gemini guy that I met has a Sagittiarus moon or Cap moon, and I know he has a water sign has his ascendant. I think he has my sign as his ascendant. He is 3 years younger than me.His sun sign decante of Gemini is in Libra. My ascendant sign of Aquarius the decante is in Libra. My sun and moon are in pisces. He is very shy and has Mars in pisces. Hi Gabby,That is unique. His moon sign is in my 10th and 11th house as well. I have Sagittarius in both of those houses. I know there is a reason why I met him.  I spiritually just haven't put my finger on it. quote:

Hi Yellow elevator,It was something that I thought of. You know, do you every have those thoughts of why you meet certain people. I have two uncles who are air signs. My uncle jamie is an Aquarius I have that on my ascendant in Pisces (sun) and my other uncle Jeffery is a Libra and I have libra in my 8th house.

I rarely find out any of my boyfriends' ascending signs but I've had a fair few Libra sun men in my life, for better or worse (I'm Libra Asc).I tend to find my relationships with Libra men start off all a-blazing then suddenly collapse. Sort of fickle and ingenuine. Maybe they ultimately clash with my Virgo sun, I dunno really. I avoid Libra men now if I can help it. IP: Logged |

I'll be interested in seeing what comes of your relationship. Our synastry is different and sadly it doesn't play out as well as I'd hope. My Sun/Merc saggy@4-5

My Moon virgo@18 His Neptune is in scorpio I think that part of our issue!

it's a strong indicator for marriage. Jung studied over 42,000 married charts and this was in the top 8 aspects for couples. others have done similar studies with the same results - the asc. is significant. the asc. matching the partner's moon or venus ranks higher. the downside for many people is that they don't know the TOB for themselves or their partner so not every couple can actually know if they share this aspect IP: Logged |

I've had it twice, but the other way. They were the sun conj my Asc. One was too brief to judge. The other was very easy, comfortable. Like we spoke a language or shared a view on life others didn't understand.My Asc is trine my Venus and Saturn for the GT as well, so it's a natural attraction point for a partner's placement. What about how your Sun is aspected? Since I have Sun in Aries square Saturn in Capricorn and Neptune in Capricorn, am I more likely to fall in love with a Capricorn rising / Pisces rising? (More likely Capricorn since its also a cardinal sign I'm thinking)IP: Logged |

My partner's ASC Pisces is my sun... Both conjunct. He is 9.5 years my senior. 27 and 36 years old. Very attracted to him. Like I look at him and get all woozy and enamored. Feels like it eases our harsh aspects a bit. My ASC, on the other hand, is held hostage by his PLUTO, both at Libra 17... Oh my. IP: Logged |
