What in the natal chart would point to a person who is never lucky in their job-situation, always having under-qualified jobs, mundane(boring) jobs they don't really want, or someone where any success with their job comes really late??

Seriously what points to this?

All my life I feel like I've had c***** jobs, was under-payed, could have and should have found something better and I've never really had a job I liked (and I feel that I deserve better)

Does some people just have that kind of charts that wont get them anywhere?

Lets see if you can guess my placements lol...

What comes to mind is Saturn in the 6H and hard aspects to Saturn from other planets, especially the Sun: conjunction, square, opposition, and quincunx.

Sun-Saturn in hard aspect can attain considerable success, but it's done by sheer hard work, and may be difficult to retain. Overcoming and facing obstacles or hard luck is a feature of this aspect. The role of the father is implicated. The father may be absent, harsh, unsuccessful or serves as a poor role model for success.

I think the 2H could be involved. You mention not being paid as you would like and as you deserve. The 2H is about self-esteem and values, as well as money and material possessions. Money issues can be a reflection of self-worth issues. So, Saturn or Neptune in the 2H.

Saturn in the 10H or the ruler of the 10H poorly aspected.

I'll also mention an active 12H. People who have an active 12H with planets there often find it difficult to find their place in the world. These people are otherworldly rather than worldly. They are in the world, but not of it. In Western culture, what 12H people value and the gifts they have are not valued by the culture they live in. They often feel isolated and alien on the planet. Creative fields, the arts, poetry, and music, metaphysics, spirituality, depth psychology, ministry, psychic counseling, mediumship, and healing are the kinds of occupations indicative of the 12H.

Possibly Neptune near the Midheaven. Not quite sure what you want to do as a career.

Whatever's in my chart. Haha!

Nah, I kid. Though I have been jobless for a year and a half -- thank you, depression -- I know I'll make something of myself some day.

I'm more inclined to say that transits, rather than natal aspects, affect one's career state; however, I'm no expert, so I'll check back to see what others have to say later on.

lol it's exactly my case !!

and i think it's my natal saturn square MC fault...

i have many high degrees, higlhy smart but i am never rewarded for my works and i can tell you that i do assert myself on a job not too much but on time when my job brings so much wealth to my wompany then i see others getting rewards instead of me...just because they are sneaky and tlak behind you at the boss to squander your work...

very very many hindrance whenever i have to speak for my rights to elevate...

I second neptune in the 6th. Also noticed neptune, uranus, saturn in the 10th house for a few people in my generation. I also find that gemini MC folk often have issues finding a career that they feel is right for them.

I highly relate with both.
Saturn in the 2nd. as Peony says "not being paid as you would like and as you deserve. The 2H is about self-esteem and values, as well as money and material possessions. Money issues can be a reflection of self-worth issues."

squares my Neptune in the 6th.

Saturn in the 10th house for sure. I'm now 29 and I just now found a job that I love. I'm still underpaid, but I do get respect for what I do. It was very difficult for me to find out what I wanted to do.

313n, thanks for bringing up your aspect connecting the 2H to the 6H. I thought of aspects connecting these houses but forgot to mention it.

I do got saturn in my 6th house. And I have saturn square mercury, but not sun or any other planet.
Saturn also conjunct neptune and uranus and sextile venus

I have Leo in 2nd house, and my Sun is in virgo 4th house conjunct mars and opposite moon.

And lastly, I have my 6th house ruler (jupiter) in 12th house. So what does this mean? It's my only 12th house semi-personal planet, but it's also Jupiter so it is rather important?
