I suppose it depends on the way the tattoo is being viewed. Is it art? Is it a testament to higher learning? Or possibly an identifying mark..

But if it's for art, what could implicate that a tattooing experience won't be what you were hoping for? Like for instance, the colors you want are used in the wrong parts of the tattoo.

Are you talking natal or transit?

I have nothing 5th house and have had this issue with a tattoo not turning out the way I envisioned. But others have turned out better than I imagined.

I have many tattoos and have Moon and vertex in 5H.

They all turned out just the way I wanted them to thanks to extensive and detailed research. My Virgo kicked in

I suppose transits, because it isn't always an issue...

And it seemed like more of a communication issue than anything..

I had the piece on my foot finished today. All that was left was to add a Pisces symbol to the top of my foot. Well, I changed my mind and got both the Leo and Pisces symbols, entwined together...it turned out really well. But the artist did my Pisces symbol in black/red and the Leo with green/blue. *sigh*

Im trying to not be too upset about it, but its hard bc it definitely can't be fixed.

I keep trying to justify it like this:
Red Pisces symbol is okay bc my sun is in a Fire house.
Blue/Green Leo is okay bc Leo is ruled by the Sun, which I have in Pisces.

Ugh. At least he didnt try to make me pay for it afterwards.

But isn't this like a double-entwinement? Both signs are prominent for you, and their energies dance together - and each sign can express and enhance the energy of the other sign? It's one of those instances with layers of symbolism and meaning.

I don't know, you are upset now but I believe when time passes you'll prefer it that way - it shows a strong interconnectedness between the 2 signs.

I love, love, love the power of images and colours, and I really like the tattoo. It's like a piece of art that can be analysed for hours.

You literally just made my day brighter!
Thank you! I love the tattoo; I hesitated for so long (literally years) to get the Pisces symbol because it just didn't feel right to have it by itself. My Leo Asc is a HUGE part of who I am and leaving it out just didn't feel right.

I do like the double meaning of the symbols/colors together the way they are! It was just a shock that he did the colors backwards. I suppose I should be thankful that they mesh the way they do for (as I described before) it makes it easier to not be TERRIBLY upset.

I may just come back and read what you wrote a few more times over the next couple days

Thanks for the positive spin on a possible fiasco! You're an angel!

Aww, I'm glad! I truly like the tattoo and what it represents - I hope it brings you only joy, it is so gorgeous and powerful.

Your pisces brings water to your leo and your leo brings fire to your pisces....eventually just the tattoo displays they come together and blend so well that they are interchangeable in you as a whole.

I knew posting here on LL was the right thing to do.

Thank you Gabby

The more I see it, the less I feel like it was a mistake and more like fate took things into her (or his since Saturn is transiting my 5H) own hands to make the tattoo what it should have been all along
