Maybe if he hadn't been my first child I would have been more nervous about homeschooling. He made it seem like it was going to be so easy. I think I gave him a phonics lesson once or twice, and then he just started reading. All I had to do was minimize distractions (video games, tv, etc) and he just read everything. Still does.

If he weren't my son, I think I might be intimidated by his serious and intelligent nature, but he is very gentle with me. He thinks I'm amazing, and funny, and smart. That's what he says. Lol. I'm like, ok. If you say so...

You guys also share a birthday, I think. Did you notice?

I did notice. Same day. Degrees are different of course.

He'll definitely always come off as serious. Taurus rising is generally laid back especially with Jupiter in the 1st and I still end up coming off as serious so he'll be much more likely to do so with a Scorpio rising and all the 1st house stuff going on. Any developing interest he may pursue?

Yes online you do seem quite serious. I look for soft spots in your communication so I'm not scared of you- lol. But you're fair, consistent, and a dedicated student of astrology, so whether I feel intimidated by you or not, you command respect- probably more important than anything else.

My son loves to play with words so I think he would sound less serious online, and much more geeky, even though he is very serious about our everyday affairs.

On sweetbee01's thread you and Solar_Leo_Queen made some great points about finding the career that's right for you. It was great reading about your experience this week since that is what has been on my mind. I was able to make some inspiring connections between my 6th house, 2nd house NN/Saturn, 12th house Jupiter and Merc, 8th SN, 12th Sun, 10th Moon/Chiron (to keep a long story long). I was literally jumping up and down and dancing around the kitchen. My son came in to ask about the excitement. I told him. He wanted to know about his NN. So we started looking into it.

When you talk to him you think law, or any kind of mediator, or an interpreter of some kind. But his NN is in Leo. So far we understand that Leo NN gives him the permission to do what he likes. He should pursue his passion, hobby even, and by doing that he will be answering his NN. He was a little taken aback. His SN is Aqua. He naturally feels a responsibility to the group; family, religious group, etc... This is how I raised him. This is how he is. But how I am raising my children has more to do with who I am than who they are and I told him that. I'm just doing my job. I have to build the foundation I know how to build, but what he does with it is his own business...

He told me he loves storytelling. I knew that. He loves writing short novels, lots and lots of comics. He likes developing the story or plot to video games, though I don't think he's interested in the technical aspect of video games. When he's playing he always talks about how well developed the plot is and for him it's definitely plot over graphics.

To be honest I have been focusing a lot on what's going in (what he's reading and learning), and not so much on what's coming out (writing). We need to focus more on writing and self expression.

Things happen around me, but I don't come to a clear understanding or decision about them until I can discuss them with someone else (Pallas asteroid in 7th I think ?), so thanks for asking, Koho!
