I'm wondering if the "stars" would be able to show the ability to procreate or not. What placements would give some insight? Just curious...thanks!

Yep. Look for where the ruler of your 5th house is placed (what house) and the aspects it makes.

Thanks Tgem. These are my placements....
Virgo on 5th house cusp
Saturn in 5th house
Saturn in Virgo
Saturn trine or sextile Uranus orb 3° 25'
Saturn opposition or square Neptun orb 1° 48'
Pluto in 5th house
Pluto in Libra

Mean anything? I think this means if children, it will be later in life, and possibly negative? Or am I totally wrong? Pluto in the fifth bothers me!

I'm curious to know if you would count all the aspects the ruler of the 5th house makes, to other planets, ascendent etc. And also, would it actually be any aspect, or conjunctions?

Whatever it is, it's in my chart! I get pregnant just thinking about a baby, lol.
I have 4 children and lost 3 between pregnancies through age 20-32....I've been single pretty much the past 5 years, so no worries about that lately! Whew!

I'm going to delete this so please don't quote me! Lol

I have libra Venus(12 degree from AC)
Libra AC conjunct Pluto(3degree)..does rebirth count for birth? Lol
Venus and Pluto opposed Jupiter in 7th

i would love to know this as well after you take a look at Dreamcatcher's.

Not sure whether to use Placidus or Equal, so here's both!

Placidus
No planets in my 5th.
Ruler is aquarius.
Uranus in 12th house in scorpio
.. conjunct asc
..biquintile sun
..biquintile mercury
..quintile moon
..quintile mars
..trine jupiter
..opposite chiron
..inconjunct pluto
..trine lilith

Equal: no planets in 5th but SN is there.
ruler is pisces.
neptune in 2nd house in sag
..opposite sun
..opposite mercury
..trine saturn

I would think that aspects to Sun/Moon natally would indicate this.

I would also add that if 4th or 5th house is connected to the 6th house(in some way),that health issues may get in the way of having kids.

So if Saturn is on top of Venus, this often suggests that the individual is serious in relationships and responsible.

So if Venus rules the 5th, they are unlikely to jump from one relationship to another etc.

But if the ruler (Venus) is in the 6th house, the individual expresses themselves through the 6th.So they find great creative expression through exercise, dieting or healthy living.

So the aspect to Saturn on Venus and its corresponding placement on the 6th house would suggest that this person worries a lot about health and takes their physical well-being quite seriously too.

I would imagine that such an individual would have issues either falling pregnant OR will restrict having children for fear of personal health concerns.

This individual may even decide not to have kids so that they can live longer or enhance their capabilities for longevity etc.

I think it all works together and not in isolation.

Look to the ruler of your 5th house. Then look to see how many "applying" major aspects that planet makes to the other planets. That determines your "potential" number of children.

Example: ruler of my 5th house is venus. Venus makes 3 applying major aspects in my natal chart: quincunx Uranus, opposite Neptune and trine Pluto. Therefore I have a "potential" of having 3 children in this lifetime.

Currently I have only one. Free-will comes into play which is why it shows the "potential," not the exact number. So I could end of having less than 3 in this lifetime but I will never have more than 3 in this lifetime, if that makes sense.

The house that your 5th house ruler is placed will describe your 1st child, along with the planets that fall into your 5th house.

It means an aspect that has not perfected yet. If you look at the grid below the circular natal chart, you'll see the major aspects (conjunction, opposition, trine, sextile and quincunx) with an "A" or "S" under it and then a number. The "A" stands for applying and the number next to it is the degrees. "S" stands for seperating BTW.

Counting the applying number of aspects to your 5th house ruler DOES work. Oh and applying minor aspects are not off limits either. Sometimes depending on the planet it may tell you what their sun sign will be.

I have Jupiter as my 5th ruler

It's applying a conjunction to Pluto (my oldest is a Scorpio)

An inconjuncton to Mercury (which is in Gemini and my second is in fact a Gemini sun)

And a semi-sextile to Uranus, now this I'm not sure if it will happen or not, but I guess the possibility is there.

I was pretty surprised to see how accurate this method was..well in my case anyway.

thanks tgem

ok so assuming i go with placidus house system, I have:
5th house ruler as Uranus in my 12th

applied biquintile mercury
applied quintile mars
applied trine jupiter

so potentially 3. although in my mid 30s i dont see how lol.

equal house system gives me no applied aspects

Was this referring to me & my placements?

I'd say at least 1. That applying trine to jupiter looks good.

Venus is biquintile Jupiter Rx
Venus is sesquisquare Saturn
Venus Sextile Uranus 6degrees
Venus trine Chiron Rx
Venus opposite ascendant
