Hi LLers,

Well, I have had a certain theory for a while now, but I've never had enough people to test it. So, I'm hoping that your responses will help 1. Support my theory and also 2. Provide some guidance when TOBs are unknown.

Right, so my theory is that an individual's favourite time of the day can be linked to or associated with their birth time.

For example, I was born in London at 6:35pm. I am not a morning person at all. True, this may been a learned habit, but I genuinely prefer to start my day later and I think that I'm much more switched on/energetic after about 5/6pm. Although this does necessarily match my time of birth, this information suggests that I prefer evenings and I was indeed... Born in the evening!

I've asked my brother the same question. He was born around 4:30pm, and when he used to live with me, he told me that he felt most active in the afternoon. He usually woke up around 2/2:30pm.

My best friend was born around 10:30am. I am unsure about her favourite time of the day, but I know she quite enjoys waking up early and making the most of her day. This shows an association between her TOB and "favourite" time of the day.

Depending on the answers given, I'm hoping that there will be enough evidence to suggest that my theory is plausible (not neccessarily true) and therefore, in the absence of a birth time - perhaps this could be the best way of narrowing down a person's time of birth window.

So...

What time were you born? AND
What is your preferred/favourite time of the day?

Nah, this doesn't work for me. I was born at 10:35 am and my favorite time of the day is around 5 - 6pm so I can watch the sunset.

Favorite time is mid-afternoon.

This theory doesn' work on me, haha
I was born at 8am. I HATE mornings! My favourite time is night. I'm most active, creative and happy. I love night sky, shadows, dim light and darkness in general. My room is quite dark too, and I rarely turn on the light. Interestingly, I see well in a dark too. Funny how people who live with me constantly keep turning on light for me, even if I tell them I don't need it

Wouldn't that be your internal clock?

According to the time you were born, that is supposed to be when you "wake up" (most productive) to start your day and shows if you are naturally nocturnal or diurnal.

I like your theory, keep modifying it until you get your answer or make a discovery. (don't forget to share ) I think you're a winner ikja.

edited: should have read internal instead of biological

Ahhh, sorry. I guess, if it works for majority, it is good?

I probably need to visit horologist to fix my biological clock

PS. It could be the link to 12th house and wanting to "hide"? My Sun is there.

Or could be the fact that I was born in a country that doesn't have much light anyway. In winter we'd have 4h of day light... But seriously I adore darkness and night! So beautiful, mystical and misterious. Gives me energy and creativity. I'm veeeery sleepy and unenergetic during the morning or day

Doesn't work for me. Born around noon, but is a morning person. Love an early start to the day...also an early end.

I heard Asc correlated to fave time of year.

Seems to fit for me. I was born at 2:05 am and I've always been a night owl and generally preferred the night time. I feel like I think more clearly and feel slightly more energetic and myself during that time of day. I also do kind of like the dark; it can be really pretty and wonderful for those quiet moments of solitude. Just a couple weeks ago my SO joked that I must be a vampire. I can't blame him for thinking so. Or maybe it's my 12th house influence if possible.

My older brother was born about a half hour or so after midnight and he too has always been a night owl. He's always had incredibly strange sleeping habits, though. He might actually just have a sleep disorder.

Born at 6:52 am. I prefer the nighttime.. but I don't like to sleep until 12 pm anymore. I don't like waking up early but I like to be up early.. Get me?

When I was younger I was truly nocturnal though. I would go to sleep when everyone else was waking up and leaving to work/school. I was also most unhappy then too.. Maybe there's a correlation there.
