I knew someone (used to have her chart but I don't anymore) who was either sincerely delusional and/or a champion gaslighter. I called her "the amnesiac" and learned not to trust anything she said, but it was far more complicated than playing stupid or innocent (but those were also frequent tactics of hers). But her reasons for it were far more complicated and terrible than to just evade pressure. In fact, I suspect she did it to INCREASE pressure as she was filled with incredible anxiety when there wasn't drama (because she knew it was surely just around the corner and felt unprepared and thus vulnerable) so by inventing drama she knew what she was dealing with and thus felt more in control. All I remember of her chart is that she's a Libra sun with a huge Scorpio stellium and I believe ASC. Well, quite harsh, but it depends on what you define as stupid. Harsh Saturn aspects can make a person seem delayed, especially with the planets involved. Or this could be the person that takes a while to get a witty joke, or their responses are so slow and unemotional that others perceive them as mentally deficient...even though they're genius in their own right. Aries. I kinda view Aries as the "militant leader with anger issues and fish memory" sign. "AAAAHHH!! Screw you!!! Hey! Heeeeyyyy!!! Wait...why am I mad? Look at me. Aren't I cute?" I don't know, debilitated Aries... When an Aries influenced person brings out the grace, it's wonderful. Otherwise, they can look kind of stupid. Geminis can appear as stupid when they ask 50 questions in a row, like a confused two year old, about a well known celebrity only 12 year olds are truly interested in. Also when they bring up off topic stuff when questioned. Heavy Neptune aspects or planets in Pisces/12th house can make someone look like a total space head. Sadly, when the words are coming out, they can sound muted or fumbled together, which makes others see the Piscean influenced person as scatterbrained. Mercury retrograde can give one a speech impediment. As well as Mercury in Taurus receiving difficult aspects. Some Cancerian influenced persons can come off as self absorbed, naive, spoiled, bratty babies who refuse to "get out of their shells" and learn about the world around them. Taurus can just appear ignorant with the heavy handed things they say and do, as well as Leos (they just add more gaudy flash and need a round of applause once they act out their stupidity). It's me. I'm definitely not stupid. I'm well-read, speak multiple language and have a post-grad degree. Funnily, 12th House influence is very present in my life. I'm quite a space-cadet, when it comes to communicating. IP: Logged |

I'm an Aries, Gemini Moon, and will say when I'm feeling too much pressure. Whether or not people listen, is another matter entirely.IP: Logged |

I know from experience, lol. It's MUCH easier for me to put my thoughts in order when I'm writing than speaking. I'm witty in conversation but I can't recite facts or argue very well so I generally laugh it off. I know people think I'm "lost" half the time and I let them. It makes them trust me more. :evil grin.: I found it interesting Teasel said when she feels too much pressure. As a Gem ASC and Mars in Gem in the 12th house I totally get that. I get all tongue-tied and stammering. For example, a few months ago my boss had asked me if I knew what gluten was, and he put me on the spot in front of everyone on purpose. Jokingly, but on purpose. I totally know what gluten is as my mom has Celiac's disease and has completely plummeted into the depths of gut health. Could I explain it then though? NO! I get frazzled and just blurt out whatever to kind of put the ball back in their court so I can leave. I think that's my Taurus moon too, because Taurus is sort of an autistic sign in the sense you can't throw anything unexpected at them (generally.) or it wigs them out in some way, shape or form.
