Normally, no.Cardinal signs on the Asc or cardinal dominance create rounded faces that can sometimes look more chiseled if Aries/Cap or affected by Mars/Saturn. Fixed signs rising/dominant create squarish/rectangular faces. This means that if the birth time suggests Gemini should be on the Asc, it is probably actually Taurus. Mutable signs rising/dominant create more longish/narrow even tapering faces that can sometimes look rounded like a cardinal sign, depending on what sign the sun is in, etc. The exceptions to this are:
- When a planet of fixity like Pluto, Uranus, Sun is in closest angular aspect to the Asc (conjunct/parallel/square/opposite/contra-parallel). Example: Sag rising with squarish face because Asc is square Uranus/Pluto, or conjunct Sun.
- When Sun or multiple planets are in the 1st house but in the next sign to change the face from the typical outline for that rising sign. Example: Taurus rising, but with a narrower face because Sun-Mercury-Venus in Gemini in the 1st house.
- When there are so many planets in a different sign of a different quality that the face takes on more that outline than the one of the sign on the Asc.
- Close aspects to Sun by Uranus/Pluto that change what is typical, usually by filling out the face more for a mutable/cardinal sign. ------------------

I have a blockhead. I'm Virgo ASC. Chart ruler is in Scorpio in 3H with Libra on the cusp. 9H Aries cusp Mars is Taurus trine ASC. 5H Lilith in Cappy trine ASC. Saggittarian Venus square ASC. Pisces Moon opposes ASC. I do have a Sun/Uranus conjunction 2H Libra. ------------------

Cap Sun, Libra Moon, Virgo ASC (Cap decan and duad), Mercury in Sagittarius in the 4th sextile Moon. ASC trine Uranus 2, Neptune 2 and Sun 6. I have a square face.------------------

I'm Gemini rising and my face shape changes a lot. It changes from heart shape to round shape. But then again, I have Moon in Cancer in the first house, so that could really affect my face shape.IP: Logged |
