That's a big subject and a fascinating one.

For the U.S. which is where I live, I go against the widely held consensus that the Sibley chart is accurate. There are several reasons why I believe Gemini rising is the correct Ascendant for the U.S. To mention a few: Depending on the degree, Uranus linked to the ASC fits the U.S. given the founding principles upon which this country was established in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Also, it's technological innovation and scientific prowess.

Also, Mars in the 1H. In the aftermath of World War II, the U.S. rose to become a superpower with an unmatched military force that has continuously waged war for decades, both openly, covertly, and economically, around the world.

Sun, Venus, Jupiter in the 2H. The U.S. is both admired and envied as well as critized for its wealth and identification with material values.
