My Scorpio mother doesn't impress me and I don't feel her magnetism, if anything I feel a sense of pity for her as I consider her a tragic figure (which is kinder than how I thought of her as a child when she still held legal power over me), though I believe I sense potential in her to rise as a phoenix and be a mind boggling inspirational woman...but I'd be surprised if it actually happened (though I think it could under the right circumstances but even then the odds are against it).

Yet she does have a power over many others, men and women. As best I see it she understands the darkness in people (and embraces it in herself) and others who are less lucid who try to hide from their own shadow self (and thus are at its mercy) aren't capable of handling her manipulations and wiles. But it amazes me that so many do fall for it when I don't. One thing Mom and I agree on is that those she can seduce or otherwise control (even if through their hatred of her) are weak and pathetic...but Mom is inclined to believe all people are weak and pathetic and she takes delight in teaching them this (when she can). Though one man turned it against her, but can't say I admire him, he was scum that made my flesh crawl just being near him or hearing his voice on the phone, and I'm glad Mom got her revenge...but now I wonder what tragic events shaped him to be the way he was, and also what his aspects are though I'll never know now.

In short, they're not magnetic and powerful to everyone. And I bet those who find my mom powerful and magnetic would probably hate a Scorpio phoenix...hmmm, that's kind of the same result (but for different reasons) in some cases...but a phoenix wouldn't toy with them the way Mom does and if a phoenix did attempt any interaction it would be as a transformer (in a positive way) which they don't want.
