An idea inspired by this brilliant thread about transits .

I've seen many people commenting on the fact that sometimes we take a too literal and analytical approach when interpreting our natal charts, and I fully agree. I spent so much time trying to reason out a placement in my chart until I heard 1 track which embodies it so accurately that I I completely grasped its significance and power within the 2 minutes of the track.

So, I think it would be fascinating if you post a song which best describes a placement or aspect in your chart which you consider powerful, personal, significant or favourite.

I'll start of with my own placement. I have a tight Saturn/ Uranus conjunction, which I realised dominates my chart and impacts, and has always impacted, all areas in my life.
- It rules my Sun (Capricorn) and chart (Aquarius AC)
- It is part of my 11H Stellium along with Sun, Mercury and Neptune
- It trines my 11H Lord Jupiter
- It squares my Nodal Axis
- It midpoints my Venus-Pluto Square (which is part of a Moon-Venus-Pluto t-square, another very significant placement for me)
- It conjuncts the Galactic Centre exact - I only found this out 2 days ago and have no idea if and how it's relevant, but I like the sound of it

For me these 2 planets have always worked together in a very powerful way (sometimes positively sometimes negatively), which I've only recently started becoming conscious about. If I had to describe this conjunction's effect in a few words it would be slow, methodical and inevitable transformation - and this track captures the energy so perfectly, when I first heard it it sent thrills down my spine and made me think of my chart immediately.

Rather Death Than Slavery

It would be great if you also share songs which you feel capture your experience of your natal placements in the best way - it's a very powerful approach of demonstrating the energy of the natal chart.

Venus in Capricorn conjunct Saturn (by less than a degree) in the 8th House (opposite Moon in Cancer)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GO_nlOloGc
The whole 'come to me first and melt my aloofness' attitude but 'I'm an intuitive softie' idea.

Sun, Uranus and Neptune all conjunct in the 7th house

Gemini Rising opposite ruler Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius

Got a little carried away sorry.
Nice thread though.

These are great, MercuryMouth!

I particularly like the 1st one, and resonate with it a little - might be me Cap Sun and Aquarius Venus?
Lovely choices, if you think of more please do post them!

Taurus Moon:

My Taurus Moon is heavily aspected (square Venus/ AC, square BML, opposite Pluto), but still it deserves a track of its own

I've thought about it as there's no easy or perfect answer...there are so many layers to my placements and how they can manifest so no one song can do any of them justice.

Nevertheless, my mind kept thinking about it even after I decided to leave this one alone and so far I've come up with this for my 5H Sag stellium (moon, Mars, Uranus, Neptune, also Eros)...I've given two options as they're the same song (which is what counts) but the vids themselves help as well, both embracing the creativity of the 5H with one childlike as the 5H Sag can be and the other quite hedonistic (and though I'm not as obsessed with sex as the majority and value my privacy too much to make a sex tape, I must say that if I ever did a sex tape to be leaked--and I'd assumed it WOULD get leaked and probably leak it myself so I wasn't taken by surprise--there is no way I'd make it boring vanilla like so many others do, I'd put on a SHOW with so many elements of the shocking, perverse, WTF creative such as use of puppets, and even blasphemous with the goal of making the jaw of the viewer drop in shock and inspiring either love or hatred but avoiding lukewarm "meh" reactions to those cowards who just take a selfie while doing some ordinary sex act, which may be my Leo ASC as much as my 5H Sag that includes Eros, though my Libra placements would make sure I'd never do such a thing while my granny is still alive as I couldn't shock HER that way...but my mamaw and papaw, I wouldn't care if they had a heart attack over it):

Rated PG anime version

Rated R (or at least PG-13) version

My Libra can't choose which one to use to I used both of them. Speaking of which, this is for my 3H Libra stellium on the Scorpio cusp (Sun, mercury, Venus, Saturn, Pluto):

Confession to the Dancefloor

My Scorpio Jupiter balancing out my Sag stellium sextile Libra (Scorpio cusp) stellium can be represented by this song (set to the same anime as the rated PG version above):

Phoenix

Combine them and you get this...granted, this is going to seem downright Disney-fied compared to what I've showed so far, but that's because the world isn't as simple and easy to understand as most want to pretend it is (or unable to view it any other way), but it makes perfect sense to me (with the caveats that no song is going to perfectly encapsulate every trait/potential of an aspect) combining my 5H Sag (especially moon, mars, uranus), Leo ASC, 3H Libra stellium and splash of Scorpio:

Anthem

And yet when digging deeper this fits as well, and I love the visuals (so fitting to both Sag and Libra), the black bleeding into white and vice versa, so much like my stelliums bleeding their energy into my life and personality, with Scorpio Jupiter using it to continually transform me:

Bad Apple

Now adding some brief visuals for the Libra/Sag energies as they manifest in me. On bad days this is how my Libra/Scorpio tends to treat my Sag energies:

And my Sag responds to my Libra/Scorpio:

Luckily, I think I've found a way to balance the energies to prevent that vicious circle of inner conflict so most days are good and I say my aspects (how I am inside) now get along like this (most of the time):

Hi PixieJane,

Thank you so much for sharing these songs, amazing choices and they portray your placements very convincingly.

I love how all songs are powerful, energetic, and rhythmic, one can definitely sense the fire in your chart. Dealing with 2 stelliums must be a real adventure. I'm just barely learning to manage my 1 stellium! The songs you've chosen show the potential for great war between these energies, but if made to work together they can be a force to reckon with. You must be a truly powerful individual!

Hey,

I'm a huge Lykke Li fan (not enough to know anything about her natal chart, though). her music often puts my feelings into words. I've actually posted these two songs here before because they are so me.

I love this first song for my 12th house Cancer Sun. She receives a square from Pluto and a trine from Uranus. Here are a few of my favorite lines, but you gotta listen to the song to get the full effect.

I get the creeps from all the people in here
I cannot breathe, it's too crowded in here
Don't look at me
I don't wanna be seen; touched; heard; bothered by the fellas who got a look in their eye
They wanna take me home without knowing my name
They wanna put me on
But do they not know is that I'm not like the others

When everybody's dancing (I don't want to)
When everybody's toying (I don't want to)
When everybody's laughing (I don't want to)
Everybody but me

When everybody's drinking (I don't want to)
When everybody's smoking (I don't need one)
When everybody's rolling (I don't want to)
Everybody but me

everybody but me

lol. Just so contradictory to my Leo Asc, but all true.

My 11th house Cancer Venus is sextile Saturn, square Pluto, trine Uranus. I'm just not skilled enough or patient enough to find a song that applies to more than one aspect to Venus, so this song and video (you have to watch) is Venus square Pluto. I'll try Uranus next. With Venus square Pluto, I'm the girl and the guy.

you're my river running high, run deep, run wild

i follow rivers

btw, if I love you, I will hunt you down, barefoot in the snow...but only cause I want a kiss.

In some cases you just have to drop the "s" from "https" so that it says "http."

Example of the difference, this:

https://youtu.be/RQJpg8QZA3o

Becomes this when the "s" after "http" is taken out:

Hi venus2tinkerbell!

I also love Lykke Li, her music is very powerful!

Your Cancer Sun choice is brilliant, I'll send the song to a few of my Cancer Sun friends who I believe will resonate with it (I have loads of Cancer Sun friends, I love Cancers )

The Pluto square Venus song, wow. I have the same aspect in my own chart, and this song is spot on.

My Venus/ Pluto square also aspects my Moon and makes a t-square (Moon square Venus, opposite Pluto). Here's how I've experienced Pluto's influence on my Venus and Moon over the years. Now when I'm more conscious of his energy, I've managed to avoid the slaps in the face I used to get

Venus in the 12H square Neptune

Love stories that span lifetimes, love between mortal and immortal, human and fairy or human and spirit. One of my favorite movies of all time is "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947)" with the exquisite Gene Tierney and Rex Harrison.

This one is for the High Priestess Uranus

She strikes the traveler on the road with bolts of lightning and death notes

Mercury square Uranus
Venus trine Uranus
Jupiter square Uranus
Sun trine Uranus
Uranus semi-sextile Pluto
Mars inconjunction Uranus
Uranus square Ascendant
Uranus semi-sextile Neptune
Moon opposite Uranus

post script: I only just started watching Death Note so my choice in this song is purely for the music.

This piece is for the water grand trine.

"Even without knowing the title of this piece, one can tell immediately that it is a piece about water. Bright and flowing runs of notes ebb and flow and crash and shine throughout this composition that explores the various moods of the sea. From gently pulsing waves to the sway and crash of a storm to the bright reflections of the sun off of a calm and even sea, this piece captures them all and blends them together into an epic journey of self discovery for this lonely boat on the water." wayseeker

It needs a different visual though.
