Thank you Randall for you're reply. It's funny you say that because my Venus Return was yesterday-I didnt meet any romantic prospects like I thought, but I won a raffle at a paint and sip party I didn't even want to go to. IP: Logged |

Rarely. Venus does not have 'fire power.' Events are timed more by close transits of the fire planets, sometimes Mercury if communicative in nature, and by progressions. And no, it does not dictate your love life for the next year -- or for any year for that matter. It helps with opening up opportunities, but then they are in your hands. ------------------

No, seriously. I don't expect much to happen on the exact day of my Venus Return, actually. It's best to interpret the chart like you would do for a Solar or Lunar Return, though I tend to give more importance to the latter instead of other planets.  IP: Logged |

What does it mean when the asc and dsc are aspecting in a conjunction at 1 degree and in the 6th house? Does that mean a job or possibly a relationship? Obviously I'm asking as I have this for my Venus return this yr lol IP: Logged |

Basically with any "return" what happens is the transiting planet (Venus) conjuncts it's Natal position and ACTIVATES the House/Sign/Aspects of the planet making it's "return".I hope I said that right ------------------

I had a Venus Return on the same day as my birthday 2 years ago and LONG story short (and maybe I shouldn't even say this cause it makes me look bad) I had a huge fight with my partner at the time and gave him a black eye. But because I was going through such a difficult time in my life (my partner was in the throes of heroin relapse, among other difficulties) all my friends/co-workers really made it one of my best birthday's by totally surprising me with all these really thoughtful and personal gifts (not necessarily expensive but super thoughtful and meaningful). So there is the light and dark side of just one Venus Return. This year I had Venus conjunct Sun on my birthday/solar Return and Venus Return a month or so later and nothing significant happened. It was one of my loneliest bdays and Venus Returns. IP: Logged |
