Venus
As an artist, Venus is mainly concerned with aesthetics and value. She wants to create something beautiful and she very much hopes others will notice this beauty too. She likes to be pleased but also likes to please which in turn pleases her. Will you please her by sighing with delight at the sight of her sculpture? She wants her creations to be desired and monetarily valuable at least. Things like jewelry and high fashion are ruled by this planet. Perhaps you think that wedding dress should be burnt and you wouldn't put it on even if someone paid you but it was designed by famous Venus and many women would die to be able to wear it. She won! If only they had $20 000 to spare...Well, I guess renting has to be enough. If her art isn't appreciated in any way, she gets insecure and doubles her efforts or hides at home and stuffs herself up with sweets.

Neptune
Neptune is a higher octave of Venus. He's the embodiment of imagination and artistic inspiration. He's also the gate to higher dimensions which means his art is likely to be unusual and teach you something about other worlds. Neptune...There's so much going on within him. He wants to share it. No, he needs to let it out. If he won't, his mind could collapse under the weight of his numerous fantasies, feelings and insights. He invites you on a trip to his inner world. Don't think twice, drop whatever you're doing and go for it. "Real life is boring and crappy anyway. And what makes you sure it's real in the first place?" he'd say. Do you want to see what he sees? The content or form of his creation won't be necessarily pleasant or pretty, after all he's not here to make you feel good but to express himself. Let's not forget though that he's a dreamy and sensitive guy who longs for genuine and immortal love, I'm pretty sure there will be some heart-warming and beautiful things at some point. He has a soft spot for pictures, still and moving, music, poetry and stories that are so vivid you can easily see them through the eye of your imagination. He doesn't expect you to understand or relate but please don't stomp on his art, it would be like stomping on his fragile heart. Since his natural habitat is a psychic ocean and he's the guardian of symbolism, you're likely to be at least fascinated. Maybe deep down it resonates with you?

When refined Venus and visionary Neptune meet, they have a high chance to create a piece of art that would enrapture the masses if it only had exposure. If you're an artist, professional or not, do they meet in your chart? It could be an aspect, a parallel, same house, mutual reception. And if you like, you can tell me where these 2 planets are (sign, house) and if they aspect your Sun, Moon or Mercury.

I'm not a professional artist, but have always been into the arts, especially poetry and writing. I like to write poetry and prose in my spare time and when I'm feeling inspired. It helps me to release my emotions in a creative, cryptic way, even if I'm the only one who understands the message. I write mainly for me.

I'm also big on music and listen to a million and one artists/bands. I could not survive without it. Take away my music, and you take away a large part of who I am.

I have Virgo Venus (4th) trine Capricorn Neptune (7th). Jupiter is trine Neptune as well. Venus is conjunct Jupiter, square Mars, trine Uranus, and sextile Pluto.

My venus in cancer in 12h quintiles moon in 10h in aries and semi-sextiles mercury in leo in 1h.

My Neptune conjuncts my Sun exact and Mercury by 4 degrees.
It's in Capricorn 11H.
Also part of a larger 11H stellium with my Saturn/Uranus conjunction in Sag.
It trines my Moon.
Semi-sextile my Venus/ AC conjunction.
Sextiles Pluto.
Semi-squares Mars.

My Venus is in Aquarius 12H but conjunct the AC by 0 degrees.
It squares my Moon in Taurus and my Pluto in Scorpio.
Semi-sextiles Sun, Neptune and Mercury
Semi-squares my Uranus/ Saturn conjunction.

Sure

My Venus in Aries, Neptune in Scorpio, only Neptune has a trine with the Sun, nothing more going on , also not with Venus. But Venus in 12

Neptune is a personal planet for me (you probably already know that).

My Venus/Ceres exact conjunction is:
Trine my Neptune/NN
(Neptune by a wide orb of 8 degrees, but the conjunction seems to add some weight).

Once I started college, I ended up getting a degree in art. I loved painting and drawing in particular. Even though other interests have taken my career in a different direction in the sciences, I still enjoy music and art in my spare time.

I think the venusian artist would be the type that is stirred by their surroundings and sees the beauty in every day things. Like a photographer that always has her camera with her because moments in time in real life just stir her deep inside.

The neptunian artist is more detached from the real world and attempts to express what is internal and make it external. I think the artists that jus start drawing and they dont even know what theyre trying to draw are neptunian artists.
