I saw several online astro-dating sites. What do you think about that? Do you have experience with this kind of dating? Should I give it a try? Or is it serious sign that I'm too obsessed with astrology ?IP: Logged |

Years ago I used match.com, but had zero success with it. Maybe it could work for some people, but I found my inbox filled with appeals from Russian women whom most would describe as gold diggers looking for a visa.I question the 'compatibility' formulations using astrology as I was checking against the charts of others as I was able and was not impressed. They are better served casting each member a very wide net so as to hold their interest and increase membership, but that means a lot of watered down 'astro compatibility' in my opinion. In other words, its a whole lot more 'dating site' and a lot less astrology compatibility. I think the best way to meet people who will be compatible with you is to learn your own astrology and use it to develop into a person who will naturally attract such people from your current environment; also that your online contacts and expectations grow with you. I met my wife in a yahoo pagan chat room. But there seemed to be nothing -- at all. I kept her phone number/e-mail and we talked on the phone a couple times after I moved to Portland and then we met in person. Only then did I start to see the potential. But I did NOT move here for her. I was moving here anyway and that was how she got on my radar. ------------------
