I know a girl who's transgender. She feels like an "active gay guy".I don't know her rising sign, but there's some aspects of her chart:

-Sun conjunct to Mars in Aquarius, both making a sextile to Moon in Aries.
-Sun conjunct to Uranus(in Aquarius too),making a sextile to Pluto in Sagittarius.
-Sun conjunct to Neptune in Capricorn.
-Mercury in Capricorn, making a sextile to Saturn in Pisces
-Venus conjunct to Saturn, both in Pisces.

I know some rare cases of "lesbian girls in men bodies" too. Is there some aspects of the chart favoring this? Some kind of androgyny, like Mercury,Uranus,Pluto(transformations)..

I'll try to come back to this later as there are a couple of things that stand out to me that might mean something. (It would be helpful to know the houses, too, though I understand if you can't get that info.)

In the meantime I also wanted to point out Anne Rice once said she considered herself a gay man in a woman's body (though she's not transgendered). Here's her natal chart:

And I thought I'd just throw out that quite a few who are transgendered have reportedly been born intersexed but was "corrected" by surgery while they were infants (one of the many ironies of society, alter what is natural in the name of keeping it natural!). While not all who are transgendered say that it's also possible that many more just don't know they were born that way. (And interesting if tragic enough one boy who lost his penis while being circumcised was surgically altered basically from birth to be a girl...his brain rejected it and just knew the correct gender somehow which ultimately led to suicide after many failed attempts. I mention that because apparently the brain does situate itself somewhat to a gender from birth so it's not a surprise to me that many intersexed individuals "corrected" in youth never fully accept the gender they were made into.)

And I also wanted to point out that gender and sexual orientation should not be confused. Many gay men are men who like manly things, and many lesbians are women who are still pretty much like other women, the only real difference from others of their gender is that they're drawn to the same gender rather than opposite. I mention it because I know some on LL get confused over that, though I can understand why those who violate their gender roles too much (or are otherwise living up to flamboyant stereotypes) are the most obvious (though could very well be straight rather than gay but mistaken for gay "because only a gay man would want to walk around in a dress and high heels" as one example).

idk but maybe pluto in 4th house can explain?

pluto in 4th house suggests emotioanl sex change/transformation

Also indicates native's sexual frustration during child, and hence bursting/transforming later on

not too sure :S

Is she physically a female, but feels like a male?

Bruce Jenner also has Uranus and Aquarius placements and Venus/Saturn in major aspect: an exact Sun/Uranus trine, Moon in Aquarius quincunx Uranus, and a Venus square Saturn.

@wintersun:

I feel this phenomenon is FAR more common than people realize and its incredibly interesting to be sure

When it comes to guys, I know one from college who has some seriously strong Uranus contacts in his personal houses such as Uranus conjunct Jupiter in the 1rst, which is sort of working in tandem (Double Trine) with his packed 5thouse Mars Conjunct Venus…

Definitely someone who is interested in exploring their own sexuality and pretty much sees themselves a Lesbian in a guys body, which as you mentioned previously, yes they do exist lol

In his case I would say from an astrological POV its definitely that Mars Conjunct Venus with his Water Sun which gives him an incredibly male/female type blending which I reckon plays right into why amazingly too… Many Lesbians are often attracted to his androgynous looks and more fem (but not gay-fem) personality, where as a lot of straight women have little interest in him.

And whatever is going on there, in that he is neither transgender or gay but occupies one could say a “Lesbain Niche”, where many lesbians accept him as he is… and in college for the most part he was in a Trine with two other Lesbians from our group of friends who seemed to just adore him lol…

So it would appear that nature simply has its way of embracing and exploring these types of soul bending levels of sexuality and just gravitates people together for such forms of self exploration if they themselves are also willing to accept who they are and what they want…

Good for your friend I say (the girl you mentioned)]! More power to her

I would say it's the Uranus and Aquarius theme and energies. Granted, not everyone born that day is like her, so I suppose the ASC would help give extra info... What are the orbs for the above-mentioned aspects ?

I believe it's her Saturn (reality) in Pisces, in combination with Sun conjunct Neptune. Both Sun & Saturn are connected with the ego. Neptune loves to deny and dissolve the ego. So, anything concerned with identity and who we are will be hidden or confused when Neptune is around.

Two possible manifestations of this

1. This person may be strongly male or female but appear androgynous to others to the point where others can't tell exactly what gender/orientation they are.

2. Neptune turns his mischief inward, thus putting the person through an identity (Sun) crisis.

There is so much I want to say about this particular subject. My hands are just itching to write a 2 page essay.

But in the interest of brevity and sticking to conventional answers, I'll give you the crude summary that barely scrapes the surface of what I actually wanted to say

"Masculine" signs in "feminine" planets and vice versa, often create a tension with the individual in reconciling who they are(sign energy)vs. what the world wants them to be(their sex, heritage and physical location) etc.

Your friend feels like a "man" because of the energy of her chart. She has the Moon in Aries and its ruler(Mars) is conjunct her natal Sun.

So not only does she identify as masculine(Sun), but her knee-jerk reaction to things is masculine too(Moon in Aries).

But let it be stated that this by no means suggests that EVERY woman with these placements or similar,is inter-sex or gay.(we must be careful of generalizing)

But i will stick my foot out and say that I have met few women with Moon in Aries and Sun conjunct Mars in the same chart, that look to some "big strong man" to rescue them from a fate worse than death!!!

The ones I know(Moon in Aries that is) may not be necessarily "butch".But they can definitely hold their own

Ive noted something about Aquarius placements/Uranus influence over the years. And I would not have come to realize it if I did not see it as a pattern.

There is a certain type of "no boundaries" quality to these influences in people. A person who is evidently Aquarius or Uranus influenced will always be curious to explore...without any limits. There can be a certain lack of depth regarding outcomes.

Anyway, I think some people have made some good points already but the Aquarius/Uranus influence might have something to do with it initially.

I have Uranus conjunct Sag Asc, with Jupiter in Aquarius (Uranus semisquare Jupiter too), and Mars in Aries. I am definitely a tomboy, and sometimes I wish I was born a boy! My mom jokes that I was born in a wrong body too.. Lol But I'm nowhere near being a les (although it's hot to think about it....LOLOL), and I very much love being a woman around men. Definitely only attracted to men.

Chelsea Elizabeth Manning (formerly Bradley Edward Manning), born December 17, 1987, and served as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army in Iraq. She became known in 2010 for leaking classified information to WikiLeaks, after becoming disillusioned with the Iraq War and is currently serving a 35 year sentence in maximum security at Fort Leavenworth.

Manning has five masculine planets in masculine signs (Sun, Saturn, Uranus, Mercury in Sagittarius, Jupiter in Aries), one masculine planet in a feminine sign (Mars in Scorpio), and two feminine planets in a masculine sign (Venus and Neptune in Capricorn). So, I'm not convinced this is it.

He does the Uranus factor though - Sun conjunct Uranus.

You could write a 2-page essay about it but ok :P .And I wonder..if a male who has venus and moon("feminine planets") in masculine signs..they'll have some bi/gay tendecies or only if they were women?
